Chase Younger and Joe Schneider both made the KBAC All Star teams game will be played on June 28th in Topeka. Nice too see some of the players from the Kaw Valley be recognized
I honestly hadn't heard of the game before but it is well deserved. I look forward to watching them beat the KCAL too!

I see that you often make posts about basketball and football. As a baseball coach looking for good recruits in The KCK area I like to view your website daily to see if you have any suggestions in who's would be a good fit for a team that wants to win?
Thank you for checking out the site. I actually started looking for stats for the first few baseball games of the season the other day. Very few of my schools are currently posting their stats. As the year progresses though I hope numbers are posted and I can talk about some players that are doing good things.
True Mcbride built a program for the youth but his most successful years there have come from kids that were in AAU during the summer and did a lot of the work on their own
Youth program to aau and then you reap the benefit. yes that is how ot should work.
Do you think Hunter Taylor can lead Basehor basketball to a state championship next year?
I may not hear the end of it but I don't know who he is. Pat's team next year along with Dale.
What do you think about Zych returning. Miege has good young players do you think he will help bring them back.
When a school can recruit I don't know how you don't find success. He had success before so I am sure he will do well again. Coach Minor is likely to come with him who I respect a lot. They will do fine once the talent comes.
Why do people conveniently forget the state the Basehor program was in before McBride got there? A combined 6 wins in the 3 previous years, no youth program, no summer program. People get spoiled quick and suffer from short term memory loss! Talent is there due to the work that has been put in.
Agree. I really think McBride has been one of the models for how it should be done. a world of respect for him.

Yes. I will announce what day we will do that by league. just hit me up and let Mr know who you are. not sure I will take any random person. you have to be a senior.

I have been seeing tweets about a Kansas vs MO ALL-star game. What is this and who is in it? Do you have anything to do with it?
there is the coaches game on the 11th. I highly encourage that game. Joe Schneider and JT Bennett will be on the team I believe. I have seen the same tweets but am not affliated with that game. our game is April 21st. come to that one.
You should also broadcast the KVL league meet, also at Piper.

Yeah I was talking with coach Baxter. There is one on a Wednesday. I will look into it. Piper will be one of the few places that can accomadate us.

Good kids just not good enough to win. I will be watching some film soon so I will get a closer look.

Cole Henley. From Ward was All KVL Honorable Mention and only played in 10 games? That Just doesn't make any sense
I guess he played the bulk of the league season. Coaches vote for who leaves an impression I guess. I can't speak to that really.
Jack didn't tell anyone he was leaving so it was a shock for tongie
There is no good way to say that I guess. I didn't get a response from coach Phillips so am not sure who was told what.

You're setting up Jack to be something he is not, it's annoying Mitchell Ballock gave him a 30 ball
I am not building him up really at all. I think this isn't so much about how good he is but where he has moved to.
It doesn't make any sense that a player who quit his team and only played in 10 games all year made All KVL??
