How do you think Tongie will do in basketball this year?! They have 5 seniors starting for them?

5 seniors but not sure how much they played. I know Hecht is athletic and has some bounce but we will see. Big losses with Ford and Grizzle leaving and then Dale leaving.

Hmmm ? Looks like the KVL all star team from the KVL playing for Basehor with Dale from Tonganoxie, Muldoon and McPherson from Mill Valley, should be contenders for the KVL title ? Just wonder what type of team Mill Valley would have been with Muldoon, Koch, McPherson, and 6ft 8 Holmburg ?

Hmm. Not sure on that one. He is more of a power back but never put up the numbers of a browning or jackson. Around 5 possibly.

After watching carl hecht he is comparable to the Murphy's. Maybe even better. He's stronger and faster than both of them

Whether anyone likes it or not McBride has been very successful. Some Basehor faithful take him for granted.

A lot of schools don't have recruiting, necessarily. Open enrollment combined with their program's reputation does the recruiting themselves. Example: LV girls are good at basketball? Lets transfer there so we can win state.

Valid point. We saw that first hand with Piper girls basketball.

Okay? You can't say that public schools don't recruit?

Kck schools can not. There are however public ones that do if they have the room and even then it has to be approved by the board. Decisions are still based on numbers and public funds are limited.

I don't get why everyone is doggin on private vs public school "enrollment"? These kids pay 7 grand a year, I wouldn't complain when people basically have free school, at public schools. Maybe those public schools should get better recruiting, parents like good schools with low cost.

I think the key word there is "recruiting".

Cold. Easily. If hell were really cold I think people would act better.
