Just checked emporia st basketball roster, what happened to the Murphy twins? I don't see them on the roster
They decided not to play. They are at KState.
Frustrating to watch a highschool coach go an entire game without using a single timeout? Dont understand the theory in this type of coaching will come back and cost the bobcats a game down the line
I never saw a moment where he needed a time out. I have a new appreciation now for the value of timeouts at the end of games in high school. Rules dictate save as many as possible.

I got to see the Mcgee twins for the first time last night. I know they are only sophomores but when the Murphy's were sophomores they were the two best players in the KVL and 1st team all-state. The Mcgees weren't even one of the top ten players on the floor last night. This conversation is a joke.

From what ive seen logan koch is a me first kind of player I dont think he leads in scoring in kvl
The good ones are a little selfish. In football I did think he was keeping it too much but what I didn't know was if that was by design. He may have paid for it with the injuries. I will however never begrudge someone good enough wanting the ball in his hands. I will need to check on the scoring leader. it is possible.
Who ever thought the mcgee twins from bonner were even comparable to the murphy twins has no cluabout basketball they were non existent last night at the basehor game
We are talking about sophomores. I think it is a good goal to have to reach the levels the Murphy twins achieved. Are they as good probably not but that doesn't mean they won't get it going.

Paul is our 2012 football offensive poy. I have a world of respect for him as an athlete. I see he is averaging double digits so an all star invite is coming.
Logan Koch is a point guard leading the kvl in scoring and handles the ball for mv. I didn't know scoring points made you less of a pg.. Ex kyrie and lillard. Just saying
That is fair. You said scoring as if it is the only thing you look at as a point guard. he would be in the conversation certainly.
Bonner surprise you at all tonight?
The girls losing was a surprise. Pretty sure they lost by a wide margin. I walked away when they were down 20 so that is about as expected. I liked what Roark was doing and I think he had a good game against Lansing as well.
How is the leading scorer in the kvl not considered the best point guard in the kvl by you?
Point guards are measured by how many points they score? That is a factor but I am not really sure who you are talking about. Jackson? He plays off the ball so I made sure I spoke of someone that truly plays the point. Owens, Dotson are example. Gibson was brought up and he has a solid case.

what are your thoughts on a shot clock for high school basketball?
There are a number of rules I dislike in high school. Shot clock would be a good one but you are talking about forcing all the scores to implement that. Clock running after a made shot is lame. Fouling off the ball before it is in bounds is also lame. Good coaches take advantage.

I did not see Jasper. I missed that game as I followed Vernon around. I know he rolled all over sumner on the ground. Lets see how Beebe finishes next year.

Depends on if he puts a couple of more inches on. We will have to see how he holds up this year. I think I heard his first love is the hardwood.
