I saw the highlights but not the game. I will get to see when we broadcast against atchison.
based on what you have seen so far... whats the best matchup in kcal and kvl?
We are doing the Piper vs Basehor game. I think that may have more to do with rivalry. The best game may be a matchup between the leagues. Atchison and Tonganoxie. Played a couple of thrilling games last year. I played around with trying to broadcast this one but really wanted a couple of other rivalry games in league.

How do you think the 2 Sykes Brothers will Play Together?
I don't know a lot about the older brother. I am not sure he has gotten to play much with all the seniors from last year. He will have to provide some leadership though on this team after all the graduations. I think Sumner is going to have some growing pains this year as are a lot of teams in the KCAL. That was a very talented class of seniors in 2013.
How do you feel about Mark Singleton and Brian Cobbins this year on the field for Sumner football?
They look great against Immaculata but I am not going to schedule a parade just yet. That TD return by Singleton was magical for a young player. I hope this is a spring board for them on defense. Pick up the door mat and play some D!
How do you think Sumner basketball will do now that they have lost another set of key player seniors
Rebuild. We will have to see what Sykes is able to do in his Sophomore. Its his team as the only returning starter and highest upside on the team.
How do you think lansing basketball will do this year?
Basketball? We just finished the first weekend of football. I do think they will have a good team with Schneider and Bailey.

Showing real well as we see right now on This TV. Young man is a hard worker and has good leadership qualities. He will be one of the leaders for the Braves lines.

I will need to watch Piper's game first. I may be able to watch Basehor too but I will have my picks posted later in the week. I don't think I would have selected the game to broadcast it if I didn't think Basehor could win.

Who had the strongest performance last night for Tonganoxie?
213 and 4TD's by Holloway. I really do like however how Ford ran the ball. This team works hard and you can just see senior leadership in their performance. Shane Levy is hidden in their performances but he ran the ball well himself. They have to follow it up. Highlights coming soon.

What else would there to brag about but the game you just played. Celebrate it for a second and then get to work on the next week. If they lost there would be a relentless beat down of jokes so we will celebrate their win just like everyone elses.

Lansing's offense picked up right where it left off last year! Abbott made tons of plays with his feet and arm. Bailey and Banks look to be an awful tough matchup to cover, and McQuillan and Porter are powerful runners. Can their D get it together or should we expect shoot outs every week?
I need to watch film to answer this. If they struggled against the rum this week they are in for it next at Bonner. Don't let that 41 score fool you. Bonnets defense was good tonight.
