Honestly I would be jaw dropped. A lot has to bounce there way and both have to come back.

Wyandotte didn't hang with St. James. That last comment was dumb. St James JV played the whole 2nd half.
I thought that part was weird. I just thought St. James schedule overall was weak but they were able to hang with MV.
How do you find good football combines to participate in?
I will keep hosting one each year to prep everyone. There is a NUC one I believe is the name in North KC that is a good one. You want to hit the college camps but it is really up to how much you are willing to travel and pay. If you are making some noise you will get invites but do you have a means to get there.

Don't count Atchison out just yet. There could be a three way tie if they win Friday. They will be coming to play especially if Gil and welch return.
So they have to beat Basehor and hopefully big to get a full +21. They are -7 now but you then have to have Basehor beat Tonganoxie big. It is a long shot at this point. At full strength I think beating Piper is a stretch. Have to win this week though.
I thought MV had a pretty easy district but after seeing them barely beat a St James team that let Tonganoxie and Wyandotte hang with them during the season, I think Bonner might just win the district. What do you think?

I heard from coach Salsgiver that said they are doing ok. Both he and Harrison took some tough shots. Just watched some of the game and it was hard hitting.
Basehor is (5-2) everyone talks like they're a terrible team. They didn't play 5 trash teams either. 2 big frontier league wins. Blow out with their best players m.I.a. against one of the best teams in 4a and a very good Bonner team. Not a bad team... they also beat Bonner's only loss.
I agree completely. They went to Eudora and beat Baldwin. I am not sure what that person was talking about. This team is road tested and just got beat up by two very good teams.

How is it big for Basehor to get to the playoffs? Football in Kansas is screwed up shouldn't be able to lose to a team by 40 in district play and still make playoffs! It all depends on your district and Basehor is in the worst district, anyone can beat Atchison and Tonganoxie!
Well in the standings they only lost by 21. They have a good shot against atchison and will beat tongie. Y so mad? They very well could go to one team per district.

Is that what happened? Basehor put their JV in? Maybe if they left their starters in Piper could have hung 75 - 100 on them. That's not a Piper fan popping off, just an insecure adult who needs to grow up.

Does Ladarius Brooks along with Young bring Schlagle back on the map. Can Jujuan Coleman carry Harmon with the transfer of Isaiah Richarson. Will the young Atchison Redmen finally win league? There is obviously plenty to talk about.

Yes he was hurt against Wyandotte. I really don't like to discuss injuries of the kids. I exchanged messages with him and he will reevaluate this week. It is very unfortunate because he was on pace for a big season and likely a playoff birth. Minus him it will be very tough for Atchison.

I agree that Coach Brindle has done a masterful job in creating depth at key positions. The fact he has two weapons at RB has allowed him to keep Beebe's carries down. I would guess he is very fresh for his final playoff push.

Nope. Injuries are hard to overcome. Depth is the leading killer of any football team. They need Gill or Welch back to have a chance. There is one scenario they make it. Have to win this week though.
