The Basehor girls win really impressed me yesterday. The outside shooting was great. Very well coached team ....and they play hard. Just fyi the Murphy twins had nothing to do with that win

I liked his game when I saw him earlier in the year. I havent seen him since though.
Koch is a talented scorer. Bonner's twins are good for 15 year old kids, but the Murphy twins were playing as men already as sophomores. Keep in mind, many players only play to the talent level around them, but some of the star players discussed on here wouldn't even see the floor in top programs.

How important do you think that #1 seed is in the Basehor substate. Not sure about the Atchison team but Tongie could surprise some people. I would want to avoid Tongie in the first round if I could
Last week I said avoid Atchison. this substate is pretty sick. I wouldn't want to play either of them.

The Murphy's were amazing multi-sport high school athletes who led their teams and represented the BL community well. While I would have loved to see them continue to dominate in college they are not let downs and they, and the BL community should be proud of all they did in their high school years!

Two factors. One the sheer talent pool at Sumner has been extremely good at Sumner. Sumner is also 4a and Washington is 5a. He is doing great things.
so i guess you nevr saw a need for a timeout during the basehor piper game monday night either when piper went on a 9-2 run with out a time out being called? yes you need to save some timeouts for the end of the game but you need to use the ones you can't carryover each half.
There has to be value in timeouts. are you calling a senior filled team over to tell them what they already know. I am not too hung up on that. It honestly is a lot of feel for that type of thing.

The Murphys are a let down to the basehor community. What a waste of talent.
I honestly am embarrashed for anyone in Basehor that feels that way. they helped win two state titles and plenty of excitement above and beyond. they chose not to play basketball and are in college working to become productive citizens. You have to be kidding me. This is like saying all the NBA flops ku has produced are an embarrashment because they werent playing well in the NBA. You should reevaluate this line of thinking.

He struggled last night. He appears to be a thinker on the court right now. I will start classifying players by their level of thinking. There are three levels and Adams right now is at one.

Why are people even comparing current players to past players. Team chemistry/makeup is different for all teams. The Murphy's also had a better supporting cast. Wouldn't it be better to ask if current players are fulfilling their roles?

Played some receiver this year so hopefully it helps him for next year as Qb1. I hope we get to work out with him this summer.

I like what Lendway is doing. he is shooting a high percentage and does his role. He has the size to get a opportunity to play some where.
