Can you explain to me why your man Colton Beebe was still in the game with under 6 minutes left and the score 52-18? Both teams had there younger kids in except for Beebe. There he was playing middle linebacker and racking up his stats against JV players. By the way I am a Piper fan.
I again haven't watched the game. I don't know that I fully understand anyone's philosophy of blow outs and pulling out players. Bonner stepped on Basehor pretty good too. Basehor passed out their share of beat downs in the past I am sure. Why does it matter?
Sports wise I'd have to give the best lead to the KVL I mean even last year in basketball you had a undefeated state champ who beat a KCAL team to get there and overall as a leauge I think it's more athletic
Right now the KVL is better. Small sample but KCAL did win the first All Star game. May have a shot to win this year based on who plays. Lansing beat Schlagle and did not play Washington at state tourney last year. Piper beat Sumner. Piper beat Atchison. KCAL will have a stronger league overall this year. Football is not a discussion at this point.

Don't remember getting beat by 40 plus points twice in a season when Hopkins was coaching. Be careful what you wish for. Basehor is not a good team can only beat subpar teams
Hopkins also had to work to get to that point. It is year 1 and they have a legit shot of getting to the playoffs. 40 or not it is still just 1 loss and a playoff birth would be big for Basehor.
Lansing and Leavenworth both have losing records but both picked up wins against the supposedly better teams in the KCCAL ur thoughts on this
Who said they were better? Well documented and discussed that the competition levels in Lansing and Leavenworth leagues is a bit tougher.

The KCAL is nowhere near the KVL. KVL is better on so many levels and that was shown last night
You are correct but I wont acknowledge that in relation to the Tongie. If you take the starting qb and rb from any team and you will struggle.

I need to watch some film. Vigil at Washington has had a good year from what I have heard along with Grant. Lines in the kcal have been under sized. Again need to watch film for atchison and schlagle.
Atchison has some bad luck. They needed Gill and Welch for their offense

I have a hard time thinking it would have changed the outcome. Not having two key pieces is obviously going to hurt.

I heard that Wallace wouldn't be back. Not sure who the new coach is. I dont know enough to speculate about the team.

Damn just skipping Schlagle and going straight to Leavenworth. I really liked what Leavenworth did tonight. Down field passing was bad outside the lucky td. Ross is a real athlete and williams ran hard. I really have two weeks to decide so no pick yet. Will be a good one.
