Its a process. Coaching staff needs to figure out how to get more players demographically. This year though being a 6A school with 25-30 kids playing is tough.

Great team but it is a mockery of kshsaa that a 4A team to be that good.

I never saw Austin play. Armand was one of my favorite players. He also had the best set of weapons I have seen.

I wouldn't call him a genius. He is however consistent minus going to Ventura in the wildcard game. If you have watched enough of the Royals you know what he is going to do. He put Escobar at the top of the lineup and bumped Aoki to two. The team just caught fire.
Not built for passing? Going from that, got a couple questions, 1.) Would you say its their inability to throw/run routes or a play calling issue. and 2.) Could you elaborate on your statement that their not equipped to do so.
They are just teams built to run the ball. The closest thing to a team built to pass is wyandotte but they are starting a new qb. Not equipped means the line qb and receiver combination wont allow it or can do it.

There was a decent corwd at a Piper vs Mill Valley game I went to. Great crowd at state tourney we called as well.
