Barnhart ran anywhere he wanted last night and made Lansing's D miss play after play! Lansing ran the ball a lot (maybe 15 passes total). Bailey was stripped on his long run at the 1 yard line. Lansing had some drops and turn overs, but Ward made tackles and played well on offense like their able to

Barnhart has a lot of heart!

Piper almost pulled off a major upset last night at their homecoming against MV. Perhaps Beebe and the boys are peeking at the right time heading into districts?

I haven't watched the game yet but yes I agree. this is certainly the time to get things figured out. good barometer right out of the gate with Atchison.

I don't know the full details but I heard he dislocated either his elbow or shoulder

That is terrible news. I have taken the stance to not comment or post about injuries but I wish him a speedy recover.

Ward faught hard tonight there looking pretty good your thoughts

I heard Barnhart ran well tonight. hey we are coming to broadcast this game. get that dub this week!!

Ol number 65. Better watch out, or better find out who he is, you'll want to.

I will look for him when I watch the film from tonight. Thanks for the tip.

What do you think of MV badass lineman, Ethan Everhart!? Rising star?

I will have to ask Coach Applebee about him. What number is he?

What are bonner key players for tonight's game?

I would like to see Mason get back on track after last week. Defense should step up as well. Terrel, Dumler need to dominate.

Key players tonight for Atchison?

Atchison should take care of business tonight against Schlagle. Huntington is a player to watch because this game will be more about protecting the football. 21 may be plenty. Schlagle is no slouch on defense.

Who isn't registered for your tourney but you would like for them to be.

I won't call anyone out because I understand not everyone maybe interested. I would like to have teams from all 14 of the schools I will be covering. I appreciate the support and the opportunity to pull the community together through events like this. I have some of the best players in our area coming and outside the area.

What Defensive player do u think will eat tomorrow?

Marvin Bowens and Steve People have to eat. Can they bring McKinzy down on their own?

who is all in the piper tourney?

Three Amigos - Zach Shriver, Alex Shriver, Brock Gilliam, Piper Squad - Cameron Walker COlton Walker, Brendon Rogers, Super Splash - Joe Schneider, Danain Swoope Miles Lester, Soup-A-Starz - Xavier Tucker, Cole Henley, Pedja Konatar, Noah Alexander, Luke Long will have a team. Evan Brull, Team Harmon - Torrence Allen, Justin Garner, Robert Holliday, Sumner Pride - Derek Sykes, Deomonte Sykes, Jaunce Marshall, Turner has two squads with some grads from last year. Roy Wiiliams, Darnell Miller Dashawn Todd, Nick Garner-Washington, Tony Brown, DeAndre Fenrick, Ashton West and Deionte Nunnally. I have another team from Olathe North. Group of sophomores that will be looking to take over on the varisty squad this year. Sign up now. I want 20 teams.

Did you see Midgyett's touchdown?

I did see it. Good run and he needs to protect the ball a bit as well. a lot of loose running last night by a few of the players.

Will you make a highlight video for the Sumner vs Harmon game?

Very possible. There were a few plays I wanted to see again. Mayfield ran down someone again so I wanted to see that.

What do you think of Alex Diaz for Lansing? He is one of few bright spots on their D and one of the best LBs in the KVL?

I would have to take a look on film. It is hard to stand out on Lansings defense. I will take a look.

What do you think of Austin Bonnel? Freshman kicking extra points on Varsity.

Bonnel was from Atchsion. I thought Huntington kicked. I don't know. if he is making them then that is great!

Have you seen any film on Colin McQuillan from Lansing? He is quietly having a great year. He is Lansing's leading runner, and the #3 receiver in the league. He has 8 total TDs offensively, and also is a stud on defense.

yes! he is feeding well off the deep threat from Bailey. a lot of his play are right underneath the double teams of Bailey. I really like the size and running ability

How good could Berry and Abbott be playing behind a line as talented as MVs? Each seem to escape the rush nearly every play and still deliver great balls to their top threats (Green and Bailey). Both WRs are amazing, but I don't know if many QBs could even get the ball off on the run like they do.

We saw last season what Berry can do behind a good line. Odd comparison as o think these two are polar opposites. both productive in different ways. its not good that Abbott has to move around like he does but it is a skill he is excelling at. I am not sure how much more production is possible from him. if they had a line his production would go down because they would run the ball.

Going back to media. You ask every team "who is the biggest sleeper on the team". Now that you've gotten to see the team's What player has been standing out to you?

bonner wasnt at media day but I heard about mason. peoples was as advertised.

Cole Henley has had two Marshall lynch like tds, not top 10 material?

I don't have access to ward's film. not top 10 if I don't see or hear about it.
