What do you mean he looked down a D1 player? Locked? I don't know Shamet's final line but I am not sure he was locked down completely. Muldoon did an excellent job following him around and limiting his damage. I think it means Muldoon is pretty damn good defensively along with team mates that supported him.

Lansing played pretty well against a tough SMW team today for a great win. 3 of their 4 losses are to top 5 teams. How do they fit in the KVL?

They are jammed packed in with Piper, MV and Bonner. Piper vs Lansing will play a big role in deciding the kvl race. One needs to sweep the other to have a shot. I still hold firm that the KVL crown is Basehors minus injuries.

There is more to basketball than just scoring. what they can also do on the other side of the court as well like defense and if they can make plays happen. Great basketball players need to be able to see the floor and make plays happen. They need to have not only points but assists and steals.

I view outside shooting as the issue Washington will face going forward. Fouls mounted up big time as Jefferson and Hards fouled out. Jefferson is to me the toughest big on Washington's team. If Metoyer were mean he would be an unstoppable force. Anyone trying to hold him should hate it and be exhausted after just a few mins. Post hard!

There is so much more to basketball than just scoring. It's pretty easy to score when you shoot a lot. The key is taking quality shots that go in.

I agree there is a lot to basketball. The problem with what you are saying is that this game is won and lost based on points which make it the most important statistic in the game. Agree that how you get your points is very important.

I think Benny has done a fantastic job at Nebraska and represented KCK well. Ben Johnson will make noise at KU and was on the field a lot this year. Armand Brisbane has been starting at Benedictine. Browning's time is coming as well at Northern Iowa.

McNeal foul trouble seemed to throw his game off. He was locked in early. Him and Bass going at it all game would have been fun.

I was saying that myself. His foul teouble killed a nice little dual. Some of the fouls though were cheap and unnecessary. He cant allow himself to be taken off the floor because of fouls. You will hear when I post the game but knew McNeal felt it.
