Jefferson for Washington is SCARY good. If he gets more aggressive on O then washingon is going to go far. They seem to be ahead by a good amount whenever he is on the court

Not sure how you can be scary good but not aggressive enough. Washington will get better as the season goes on but right now aren't passing the ball well inside. The high low passing tonight as well against Leavenworth was not good. Jefferson is a beast on the boards but still developing offensively. Hards had a good second half as well. Washington is going to be tough to be especially with McNeal, Harrison and Dawn all contributing. Their depth is going to wear down teams.

Thoughts on Robert Holliday so far?

I havent seen him live yet but he is doing exactly what he said he would do at media day. Great start for him.

Best guy and girl basketball players at FL Schlagle

I need to see a girls game. Brown or Scales then Young or Brooks. Who is better is kind of tough as they all do different things.

Schlagle boys return 95% of there young talented roster over next two years is that program in good shape

Depends on how good that young talent will be. Next year may pay dividends on the experience but they have to show this year that they are good enough to compete at the highest level. On the surface it looks good but still the whole team needs to keep improving. Your 4th, 5th and 6th players are important when you talk about being a good program.

Top five girls in Kcal basketball?

Ehh. No order. Patton, scales, brown, laurene from atchison because i dont want to butcher her name. Samia roark.

you think it is a good idea to link up w your boys and go to the same college together for ball?

13th grade is not cool. College is about finding the best fit for the individual. Those that don't do their diligence will be back home with in a year.

Any early POY candidates based off performances so far?

It is early but if James McNeal is going to average 30 a game while leading Washington to many wins he will be one to consider. Muldoon will be a player. Sleeper for me may be Theo Bass at Wyandotte.

Has Derek Sykes fell off?

I would say Derek has stayed the same. He shows flashes of dominance at times and is still incredibly athletic. We will have to see though if he is taking steps forward.

Why are Muldoon and Semi Ojeleye being compared? C'mon. Those two names don't belong in the same sentence.

We are not. I just used Semi as an example of an elite high school player.

When did you see him play a game where he played man to man defense, or had to run an offense? He is a great athlete, but played under a poor coach that didn't teach him anything. He relied solely on his athleticism. He could still be successful at the next level, don't get me wrong.

He was the offense.

Ojeleye was a superior athlete, but Muldoon knows the game better. Ojeleye was hurt by poor coaching in high school. Wasn't a good passer, not a skilled defensive player. Great skills and athleticism, but wasn't taught the entire game which is what hurt him at the next level.

What hurt him was going to Duke where the competition just to get on the floor was high. If he had come to kstate for example i am sure he would be able to fit in a lot better and play. I saw him numerous times and didnt think he struggled to know the game.

BASEHOR GON WIN THE KVL. THEN THEY GON WIN STATE. NO PRISIONERS WILL BE TAKEN. DRAKE IS FINNA HOP ON THE BANDWAGON SOON.

I feel sorry for you guys having to listen to Drake as your best rapper.

Agreed Ojeleye is the best player to come through 4A in a long time the Ballock kid from Eudora is a much better player than Muldoon and he is only a sophomore already ranked in top 100 and offer from Kansas.

He is a different type of player but very talented.

If Pat Muldoon was elite he would already have a D-1 scholarship he is a great high school player but kind of odd size for D-1 not big enough to play post and not skilled enough ball handler to play 3

Pat will play ball at a college for sure but I agree. He would be a 3 tops at a d1 and he just doesn't handle the ball enough to consider him a guard. Elite to me in high school was Semi Ojeleye. Pat Muldoon however is a very talented player and possibly the best in my area.

Basehor is a good team with an elite big man and solid guard play. They are definitely beatable, but I think it would take one heck of an effort to do so. What do you think?

Elite is a very strong term. I do really like Pat's game. This team is deep and will be a tough out.

If he plays anything like he has been Id think he'll be First Team this year. He had a monster 4th quarter against Leavenworth to ensure a win.

I am planning right now to go watch him against Atchison on Tuesday. He will get some serious run for POY if this is the pace he plays at all year.

Saw James McNeal last 2 games, one of the most exciting players to watch when in rythem. What's your opinion on him?

He was second team All SHUKC last year. When you look at him he doesn't look it but the kid can score. He averaged 20+ last year.
