Amber Garber, Jessica Wayne, Carley Zwart, Frankie Orepeza. Bonner got the transfer from Ward. Julianne Jackson will have a big year as well.

Who do you think will come out with the win Friday for girls, Piper or Mill Valley?
That is a good question. If Piper was at full strength I would like their chances. Mill Valley did lose a lot off their state runner up team. I would take the Jaguars at home.
that peoples kid is on both why did he get picked over so many?
We were right on the fence of him being defensive poy candidate. He was selected to both teams because he played well enough on both sides of the line to earn the spot. one quote I got from an assistant coach about Peoples. "*He's a bulldog"

There are a lot fewer than in previous years. Ben Johnson and Dimonic Mckinzy last year was on both teams. I honestly don't remember anyone being on both. Beebe and Bailey are on special teams.

That is going to be a fun one to say the very least. Top seed will be important because I wouldn't want to play Tongie.
How many different all-state teams are named? Do you have any insight to the selection process and do you you think there will be any all-staters from the area? If its not based on team records, I could see McKinzy, Beebe, and Bailey having a great shot.
there were some big numbers put up at the qb position so we will see on Mckinzy. he did have a big year. I agree that we will likely see Bailey and Beebe. capital journal should have one come out soon.
Most underrated basketball players in the area?
that is a pretty sick question. Evan Neill comes to mind. Nunnally at Wyandotte hopefully raises some eyebrows this season.
Do parents make that big of a difference in an athletes success?
I find more often than not a quality home leads to success. not required but it certainly helps. depends on the kid really.

many on top of the award ceremony stuff. one kind of feeds the other though.

What are the keys to Friday nights basketball game at MV?
Great guard matchup with Voorhes and Koch against Owens and Long. I am curious how they will choose to matchup. who is going to step up to handle that front line of Piper. Piper should own the glass so it will be important for MV to knockdown from the perimeter.

That would be a good breakdown. it would be a fun game although there are the same players. we need a ea game to simulate it.

It isn't a rumor rather a fact. a years worth of game time will be valuable. I know all are already at work in the weight room.

How will bonner be next year?
Talk about a reboot although they have a QB that at least got some playing time this year at receiver. Lefty but his name escapes me. Hoffine is hopefully back at full strength. I honestly won't expect much from Bonner with all the production leaving.

I think any of the 6 we named are valuable. I don't know that this group was better than our 2012 group.
Any players you have covered have a chance at the league ?
That is a tough one and I just don't know. You just never know how a player will develop once they become men. Injuries and such as well. I won't say it is impossible but if the dedication is there then why not.
Which player this football season did overall everything for there team?
Colton Beebe was a FB/TE/RB/LB/DT/P, Dumler lined up at FB/DT/DE/OL/P, Tanner Huntington doesn't get enough credit for everything he did, QB/S/P/K.

How is mill valley defense going to be they lost a lot of defensive players?
I wouldn't speculate right now without seeing what they have behind the seniors. coach Applebee had 120 in the program. to me it is clear they are developing talent. we will see.
