What do you think Basehor's window of wins possible is?

It depends on the line play that we see in the first few weeks. They are only a slight favorite over Ward. If Turner's line isn't any good they could score a win there. Basehor lives in the head of Bonner Springs so you never know what will happen there either. I don't know much about Jeff West and Perry to know what they have coming back. I don't think they will be a favorite in any other game.

how do you think Bonner is going to do against Turner?

I think a lot depends on how well Turner's new offensive line plays. If they get worked over up front then it will be a long night for the Bears. I expect a bit of defense to be played.

On the other hand how do you think bonners defense will be?

When you are strong up front then you have a solid foundation. Dumler will anchor the line and provide a strong push up the middle. This will free up Terrel at LB and other players to rally to the ball. A lot of potential if just a few others perform well.

do you think bonner will have a good offense this year?

Any time you have a player with the speed and ability of Jordan Jackson. There are two keys. Getting a solid contribution from the RB position. I think the line will be fine especially working everyday against one of the best defensive tackles in the state. If they can run then the passing game will open up for the unproven wide receivers. Yes they can be good.

How good is Basehor's secondary?

I will be honest and say I don't know. We will find out Friday since Ward is going to want to get the ball to their athletic group of receivers. Keep an eye on Noah Alexander, Xavier Tucker and Cole Henley.

Who do you think will be the KCAL top d-lineman

I don't know until I get a look. Tre Carter at Wyandotte looked good at the camp I attended. Gibbs at Schlagle obviously will look to build on his successful 2012 season. I don't know yet if his partner on the other side will be Josh Bruce or Rodney McNeal.

Did Steven Peoples live up to the hype?

Not yet. We will see next week or two. I liked what I saw but not against competition.

How do you feel bonner was offensively and defensively?

I didn't stay once the field flipped. My knee was toast at that point. Either the defense is real good or the offense is real bad. Not crisp at all. Sitting in the heat for four hours before playing didn't help. Nothing at all to take away from tonight.

Lansing held its Red and White scrimmage tonight and the offense looked great. The passing game looked very crisp and their power back (McQuillan) looked like a machine as well. How concerned are you for their D and do they have a chance in the KVL?

I am not surprised at all to hear the offense did well. I couldn't remember the young end name until now. He also plays lb along side Hector Porter. I don't know much about the secondary but we will see. They were a soup kitchen at the beginning of last year but came of strong at the end. Good challenge week omw against tongie who I like to win league.

When are you hosting the bball 3 on 3?

I am shooting for before the basketball season. Sort of a kick off event for the season. I want to get a decent trophy for this event and obviously we will prop up who ever wins. Should be a good fund raiser opportunity. I need to find a site to host it first.

Production crew is heading to Bonner for a test run Friday so I will be there passing out fliers. I need some people willing to pass out some fliers at schools for me. If it is in hudl I can check it out if I get access. Pull some highlights.

How is your knee doing after your surgery?

It is getting better everyday. I had my follow up today and he didn't have great news. The process to arthritis is well under way and continuing to do high impacting things it will only get worse. Need to focus now on saving the legs for my kids so I will limit my runnings. Outside of that the lateral release lined up my knee cap so that should help a lot. Thank you for asking!

Very good program. New coach though and a rumorr their best player might not play. Good get from Atchison of Rivers. Good frame on this young man. I don't follow them so not a lot of details.

I won't dignify the first question with a response. Please do not insult my college with such a question. The second I made a vow not to trash KU with Ben Johnson officially being on the team. I however reserve the right to cheer for South Dakota with TeamSHUKC member Drew Potter on the field. Thrilled to death for this young man because I know how hard he works.
