Only football I believe is that they are going to. But basketball. They return 6 sophomores and 2 juniors from this year. Add a possible transfer in there and you have a scary team.
I really don't have a ton to say about that on the night they lost to Ward. they all need to take big steps.

If basehor and piper play again it will be the same outcome. They would play at home and probably have McNabb back. Not a good recipe for piper
It is coaching at that point. Is there an adjustment to make? If Piper comes out and just does what they did in the first two I agree. If they make a change and if CJ Harper can get in gear they have a shot.
Bonner could be a legit 4a threat here in the next year or 2 tho.

WOW! I can't believe people are being this critical of someone who donates their time to help our area kids! Maybe if they spent less time criticizing they would have time to help you get all of the names right or help cover other sports! Most of us do appreciate what you do and hope you know that!
I do and again don't think any less of someone with that feedback. I am aware all athletes want spotlight. I would burn out if I did it though.

That was a bad loss but that is going to an extreme.
You can't say you cover kvl or kcal sports because you don't. You cover football and basketball. Not all sports equally.
That is 100% true. What I do however during football and basketball season is an incredible amount of time devoted to the community schools I cover. This is not my full time job but again a service I choose to provide. I really do wish I had the time and energy to cover every single event. My hope is I might inspire someone else to do it for Baseball or track. I am very much on board with supplying the SHUKX website and tools to help.

I absolutely cherry pick the teams that are playing well and provide a bit more focus. No hate taken as it is fair feedback and I have a confession. there are plenty of players that I don't know the names of. Its no disrespect to Gilliam or any other player off the bench. I don't claim to know every roster front to back.
Basehor looking good? Gilliam came up strong off the bench for McNabb tonight.
I called him Gorman so had the names mixed up. Didn't notice McNabb wasn't playing. Further discouraging for Piper. Basehor is just a little better. It is going to take something special to beat them.
