Basehor will be equipped to go back to State next year with McPherson, Gilliam and Dale. smaller team but we will see if the Tatkenhorst twins grow physically and from a skill perspective. I will still be bullish on the Bobcats next year despite losing Pat, Carson and Joe.

Prediction for KCAL girls basketball nxt yr? Can Schlagle compete with the talent at Sumner?

it will be very hard to pick against Sumner. the off season though is important. if Patton, Roark and Vaughn don't work to improve then it could open up. Washington will have their core back as well. Schlagle will need Lawson to take a big stride over the summer. Scales, Waldrup are big shoes to fill. should be a fun battle. just hope the rest of the league gets stronger as well.

girls could go to state again. boys we will have to see how the roster shakes out and who steps up. You will have Letcher and Collin Beebe back from last year.

What is this sideline sports talk all star game that is going on?

They do a 2 day event I think with the 3 point contest on Friday and then the game on Saturday. We have a few of our SHUKC athletes participating in that game. It is a KS vs MO game. 2nd or 3rd year they have done it.

I guess if you know a coach at a school they would let you try out. I know that there were open tryouts at K-State to try and walk on. You went through hell most times to get turned down.
