Lansing consistently has great sportsmanship. The one exception being this game, but even so it was a great experience for the fans and players. Piper actually challenged the Lansing student section to storm the court.

its funny because I asked during the basehor game if piper fans would storm.

Could Piper possibly have won a couple more games this year if they had last year's student section? It's sure helps with momentum, especially in close games.

Yes!!! Vernon and I mentioned it. I am getting word on why and I think the league and administration needs to travel east a few miles to see how this kills the spirit of school. I swear if this stands the crowds will diminish and school pride will falter. I think tonight and the student crowds at Piper have been weak so you need only do a study of this year. I feel for the students.

Really? That is a good bounce back win. I will check the substate and see what I think.

What's wrong with rushing the court? Many times this year I've seen college fans do it. I just think it's something that goes with the win, of course you'd be in disagreement if you aren't the winning team

Ehh. college there are unwritten rules. the ku jayhawks are not rushing the floor for any body. Lansing has been to state for a number of years and were undefeated. again I don't personally mind it but if you check the rushing the court ethics manual Lansing should never even consider it.

Do u think the tongie Basehor game will be close or a blowout by Basehor?

I will just say Tongue has like a 25% chance to get the upset.

Younger had 42? That's impressive, but there can't be any player in the city that shoots more than him. Guns it EVERY time.

What's your opinion of the court storming?

In general I really think it depends on the team and situation. I personally wouldnt want to be in a spot that my fans want to do that. it was weird but I don't mind it.

What did you think about Lansing storming the court and changing we're number 1? I mean sure it's a big deal to go undefeated but still a bit disrespectful in my opinion.

I asked Joe and coach Briggs. I am sure they would prefer it not happen but the student section we noted was full of players. I don't have an issue but a team of this caliber doesn't have that happen. they have passionate fans though and Gibson made a grwat play.

we saw a text he had 11 threes. I would say I am shocked but I am not. in the zone. saw him do it against Bonner last year live.

Lansing vs Piper girls game?

I was worried about them honestly in the third quarter. I tweeted they were down out and then went on a 27-12 run. We interviewed senior Tori Webb so check that out Saturday during halftime Saturday.

Did you think that Vincent Eskina blocked that shot with 2.2 seconds left or was jump ball the right call?

Vince palmed the ball and held it. I thought it was the correct call.

how do you feel about sumner next year? do you think that they should play small?

I don't think they will have much of a choice. Coach speaks highly of some young talent coming up. depends on how they develop.

Thoughts on Ashton West?

I never got to see him play. thought he was at blue springs south but didn't see him against Lansing.

You have to remember the 2012 Lansing team split with basehor and this year's lansing team is obviously much better

I will be honest that I didn't see Lansing play in 2012. Its make up of the team as well. It would have been a good game.

How do you think Sumner handles playing without there starting PG Jaunce Marshall?

Not very well at all. I apologize I haven't posted the Washington game but we talk about that during the broadcast. PG is so important.

If Lansing runs the table does that make them the best KVL team in recent memory?

They are in the conversation. I would love to see them play the 2012 Basehor team.

What does Piper need to do to break their slump against Basehor if they end up meeting in the sub-state champ?

I have been thinking about that. I didn't expect coach Wallace to make many adjustments last night as the game was really near meaningless. I won't go into strategy out of respect of the conversations I have but my main thought is Piper needs a great first half by Long. Get a lead in this game as Basehor is deadly with a lead.

How do you think Bonner is going to handle Desoto next friday?

I honestly haven't seen desoto play. Bonner cant have much confidence right now though.
