There will be a game where Muldoon gets in foul trouble and Basehor will struggle. Not a lot of senior leadership on that team besides Muldoon
I agree he will but I disagree with not having others that can step up. This is a deep team and there are other players that will have big games. You don't have to be a senior to have leadership.

Its one game and I would really put Bonner in the middle of the pack. It is always a good thing to go on the road and beat Bonner but that has been a one sided deal for a long time. Mill Valley I still say will be the top contender. Muldoon will be a great player this year but Logan Koch can dominate games as well.
Will you be coverig KCAL baseball more this year?

After watching the Basehor Bobcats Girls basketball team, are there any players that stand out or is it an equally athletic effort? Assessment please
They started out well Friday but they looked like they are still searching for a go to player. We will see how they look later in the year as the beginning appears it will be a struggle.
After watching the McGhee twins again they are so underrated. They've grown alit since last year. They should defiantly be compared to Basehors Murphy twins. They're better shooter and more athletic than they ever were
Well they have to show it. I like what they do but please stop comparing them to the Murphy's. It simply is not fair to the McGhee. Very respectful and well spoken young men. I enjoyed them yesterday. Yes they have grown a couple of inches. Neither are better shooters than Colin Murphy at this point. Ryan you could possibly argue but he wasn't a perimeter player.

I love both kids but neither are jumping out of any gyms. Its not a slight to either one of them. Neither were track guys. they were both very intelligent players that were skilled to win a lot of games. What bias do I have?
What drew your interest the most on media day???
The big message I kept hearing is the transition a team takes from having a dominant scorer to moving toward more of a team aspect and the varying degrees of it. Washington boys had a player scoring 26 a game but Coach King indicated that no one was really "watching" him do it. The girls however would give the ball to Womack and let her do her thing. Now that he has 2 guards developed he has more of a team approach. A year of transition for many schools. I did like what I heard from Lansing. If Lorenzen is a player with his length along with Trevor Young that will be a team not to sleep on. I really liked Tonganoxie and how they didn't dwell on players who aren't there any more. The Lansing girls sounded very confident in what they will be able to get done. Coach King had me ready to run up Parallel!

I think it will be a struggle this year. 21 I believe was aggressive but they need to find out who will be a scoring threat.
