in district play. outside of that I don't think so. looking to run a lot more than last year. last year he scrambled to throw. he is scrambling now and runnong with power.

I am almost done watching Sumner vs wyandotte. I don't think so. Sumner is one dimensional right now.

kid made two stupid penalties. he however man handled the rest of the game. I can make a highlight of the pancakes and penetration if needed. I praise him because he played well.

I have just watched him against turner. solid runner and makes good decisions with the ball. not as big as I thought he was but a good runner. I hope he is back on the field this week. bright future as just a sophomore.
Lusiano fasani(bonner) best kicker in the metro?
I don't know if he is in the metro or not but he is the best I have seen so far in our area. A front runner for post season honors at SHUKC the second they lined up for a 40 yard field goal.

McKinzy, Steve Ford, Antonio Moore, Javeon Williams, Marvin Bowens, Housh, maybe gassmen if Bruce doesn't just go nuts at WR. Peoples will be on the O-Line. His partner Hildebrandnt maybe as well. If they take 2 QB's it will be Huntington.

What's wrong with Piper's offense
Inexperience on the offensive line is the start. replacing 4 senior starters on a line is hard to do. They are hurting outside at WR as well but again it is inexperience.

I think Dorian is killing wards chances, the only plays the run are options and the deep ball. And those two plays are do predictable that they can't run either one right. What are your thoughts?
That is one way to look at it. The problem with that theory though is that Dorian has proof that that limited play book wins ball games. I also do not believe it to be from a lack of effort of his part. I would argue in their first game against basehor that they tried every formation, play and gadget in his playbook but nothing worked. Mistakes were made and the players looked confused. So sure you adjust and try to take the approach that you have a limited number of plays that you rep to death and hopefully are able to just execute better. Dorian doesn't run the plays. blowing up you senior year is hard to get started on the recruiting trail. if he send his film around it is not unreasonable to think that a team would be interested. act and film getting sent out would determine if he gets a look.
Thanks for all you do to continue to support athletes in this area. Do you have any connections with other sites who promote youth athletes (810 Varsity, KCpreps.com, kansas-sports.com, Ksprepssports.com, preps2prospects, etc)? I do not see many KCAC or KVL players getting love.
810varsity is very active in the kvl. I believe they host games for kcal. preps2prospects is based out of Indianapolis. I have spoken to most of the people that run those sites. most have to go where there is financial support. I am working to make it possible in these two leagues. if they were doing it I likely would not have started. I am hoping we can find a financial partner to help keep this level of coverage going.

it will be interesting to see if they are willing to just run the ball. Moore is coming off back to back 100 yard games. Atchison back to back games giving up 300 yards on the ground. mckinzy has been running more this year as well. it will be a challenge for Atchison.

one of the best in the state not just league. not a d1 recruit for nothing.
Do you think it helps much to put highlight videos on utube?
I personally dislike hudl so yes 100% you should get your film trimmed down and put on hudl. You want to have your very best plays first and foremost. At most college coaches will watch 1 minute. If you haven't gotten their attention in that first minute then they are moving on. Don't show running, celebration or delay. Each play should cut directly to the next snap of the ball showing you do good things again. The instant that play is done you are cutting to the snap of the ball. Goal being to get as many solid plays in that first minute to hopefully garner a longer look.
What's your opion on Gill,MunsenGassmann and Smith for Atchison?
Gill I thought did a good job in the slot. Munsen I called a couple of times. He had a big sack in the game. Gassman had the long TD and he is a legit deep threat. If he could have squeezed that TD before half. Oh my!! Smith was bottled up for the most part but played hard. We will see over the next few weeks especially against Wyandotte.
What do you think of the Wade Gassmann Bennie Smith duo at d-backs for Atchison?
We haven't had the opportunity to see anything with the d-backs as no one has had to throw the ball against the defense. No slight to them what so ever. They could be the best DB's in the city but if they are tackling RB's all night they won't get the opportunity to shut anyone down.
What is the major problem in your city?
In Wyandotte County I think 100% of the issues in the schools are economical.
