Khalil Bailey stats from the all star game
I don't think he played.
How did the KVL or KCK players do in the all star game. Any stand out or win any awards?
I wasn't there but got updates from Coach Brindle who was there to watch Tanner. He mentioned Gibbs and Hunter with goods hits. Berry and Bailey did not play. Heard Christian Spencer placed third or fourth in the lineman challenge.

We have a D1 offer out there with Beebe. We have had at least one in each year and 2015 will be no different. We will see if someone else steps up.
So what don't we have this year that we had last year at Ward for football season
I think you guys will really miss Wooten. You have a lot coming back with Barnhart, Jared (5) WR (I won't butcher the kids name), and Henley which is a great foundation at the skill positions. You have to keep in mind that Ward still just has an enrollment of less than 400. Are there athletes there? Yes but the players that show up there are doing so for baseball not football. I could be wrong for the first time ever but I don't see Ward doing much in football for years to come. Will they play hard? Yes. Will they compete? Yes. I think very highly of Barnhart and coach Dorian.

Was a magical run for Ward. Well deserved title. They lose some key pieces going into next year. I honestly don't follow baseball that close.
Henley won't be at Ward it's been confirmed.
He said he was looking at Aquinas. Good get for them if true. Not made at all.
Who's the most important player for Ward Basketball this season?
Henley if he is there. Alexander would need to step up as well.

Ward I think is going to really miss Wooten on the line. I will need to see who all is on the roster. I will do a ward preview soon.

Hearing Ben Miller and Sion Midyett are in off season training. Cobbins is a given. Just worried about them up front. Summer has athletes at skill positions. A dominant line is what they need.

Totally agree with rotation style going to Briggs, Mcbride tends to sub the same every game
There is nothing wrong with a set rotation. I have only seen Briggs with a good teams. Mark of a good coach is taking average and getting them to do more. I enjoy watching both work.

Today I will have to say McBride. He has built a nice program at Basehor which was horrible if I have been told correctly. Briggs will get his shot to rebuild so we will learn a lot about him over the next couple of years.
Mcbride or Briggs? who is the better coach
Depends on who has the best players. I don't have much issues with in game strategy of either coach. I may prefer the rotation style of Briggs over McBride but I haven't seen Briggs with a developing team yet. I avoided this question for that reason. It would be a bit silly to say Briggs is the greatest coach ever when I have only watched two seasons of him having magical talent. We will see over a period of time.
What is the best thing to eat for breakfast?
Egg whites. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and one I believe you should load up on. You are fresh off having your body at rest and giving it plenty of protein at the start is ideal.
Do you believe any of the KCK schools will be able to have success in sports with how the district operates?
Eventually the right people will get in the right positions.
