I dont know enough about the teams they may face. I will be cheering for them if they go.
What do you think about Jordan Guess, He's a solid scorer for Piper. On top of that he's a real crowd pleaser he can keep a crowd entertained. Do you see him as one of if not the most underrated players in KVL?
He has shown flashes for sure. Being this is his first year contributing it is hard to find the consistency in every game. When he is on though he plays well. I would agree he is under the radar.
Do you think a coach should develop his young talent by playing them in a varsity rotation to get game experience? I think this can really hurt teams long term if you don't provide opportunity for growth. For example, rotating (not starting) talented underclassmen with your core players?
Depends on how good the player is along with the team. If the team is losing then yes you should play young players that are ready.

So you'd prefer a kid who drops 20 a game, but shoots 7-25 (with 6-12 Free throws), has 2 rebounds, no assist, and lets his man score 25? Also, stats can be deceiving if a kid scores 2 points a game but has 10 rebounds, 6 blocks and 4 assists, you would still take the scorer?
A bit of an extreme but that is not that far off in a few situations for the All Star teams. Without a real life example though what are we really talking about.

They have to knock down from outside. Holmberg has to outplay Muldoon. A lot to ask but he needs that type of performance.

In the KCAL case that wont work. Kvl case is a little different. Both players are coming on.

I had a discussion about why our all stars are among leading scorers.
Just interesting as the picks you have named are the leading senior scorers. All good players though. I think KCAL gets the W this year.
The one case is Tongie who i havent named yet.
Hecht is the best athlete at Tongie and Young is the best big in the KVL!
Hecht is in for the dunk contest so we will get to see. Young is playing well right now for sure but so is Fliger.

Man that is a tough one there. I dont think Schlagle wants to share and have little pressure in this game. I am going with the Stalliins.
