Two potential D1 players in Jegen and Hecht. Koch should get a Simone look and Jegen for the Otis Taylor. i am going to push hard for both if they perform.

I have to agree when you have two returning weapons like Byers and Holmes. hearing Aaron McGee who was a top 10 player for us in basketball is out playing receiver. that can only be good. Aslin has buily a strong program.

of the top of my head I would say Jegen, Mcpherson, Sloan will be among candidates. Gill and Haley at Atchison.

Holmes and Byers could be one of the best duos in the city.
He started a game or two, the coach didn't know what he was doing, didn't play the right players.
Its no disrespect to him. miege went from the semi finals of the state tourney and will reload with talent this year. to say you are going from rhe bench at ward to touching the floor at miege is a stretch. Cerda came from Mieges bench to excel at ward and get a college shot. I wish him good luck.

Heard a lot about Miege sand bagging in order to be in 4a.. They had over 100 kids on their varsity roster how could the state possibly allow that? Along with recruiting kids straight out of middle school..
Its not your number of football players rather your enrollment. i dont think I would say sandbagging just that there should he modifiers for schools that can and do recruit.

I don't know about Louisburg and Spring Hill yet but I have zero expectations against Miege. They are a state power and have little business being in 4A.
You said a while back you see Sumner as a sleeper.. Do they have the potential to surprise everybody with Midgyett cleared to return and Mean Lenny Green back got another season?
I was probably talking about basketball but things have changed. I am looking forward to seeing Midgyett, Green and Singleton back. I don't know if Sumner will have enough to surprise anyone although the league overall will take a step back and be more competitive top to bottom. Atchison and Schlagle are the clear favorites to me.
What does the loss of Jason Nick (transferring to miege) do to Ward.
I honestly didn't get to see Nick play. I would imagine he struggles though to find time at Miege. That is a good team with good players coming in.

Be a leader on the team? I don't know. We will have to see how others around him mature.

Well here is the problem. depends on how you define a small forward. Harrison played that spot. Sykes you could put in that category. Rawls had a good year as well.

I would say Khalil Bailey. His run at the state receiving record was fun to follow. Being a finalist for the Otis Taylor award was also fun.

I won't say I am sleeping but I am drowsy. You need to replace a lot of firepower.
From the girls all star game film who were the best players from the kvl?
Jabria Leggett and Emily Babcock led the way scoring. I thought Mikayla Bennett ran the floor real well. Everyone scored and I hope had fun.

Thoughts on robert holliday's play at the all star game?
I have been a big fan of Robert's this year. I think more so because I watched him over the past few season evolve his game. He played very well and helped the big second half by the KCAL
