I think bonner has A great opportunity to be St. Thomas Aquinas this Friday especially with the running back out due to a broken leg I feel like last week really hyped bonner.

Mr. Brox, how come you don't cover Soccer? On shukc's home page it says "KCAL and KVL Sports Coverage." Well, shouldn't that include Soccer as well? Not just Football and Basketball. If not you, then maybe you could get someone to report on soccer for the website? Just some feedback!
That's a fair point. The most precious thing in life is time. With two kids and a full time job I have to pick and choose what I cover. Shukc is a not for profit and everyone donates their time. If there is a soccer fan out there that wants to cover and write then the door is open. I will share what is shared with me. My ultimate dream would be to have students write and follow all sports.
Highschool football playoffs are a joke a team can get get beat by 63 in district and still make playoffs

I saw your kcal boys POY canadites, would you not consider Jordan Young or LaDarius Brooks in that category?
They will be crucial to Schlagle having a good year this year but I wouldn't say they are POY candidates at least in the preseason.

You canbe a d1 athlete at a city school. Its been done. Being college ready is an individual decision in my opinion.

I am not sure if Krull is a TE or not but he has a sick frame and can catch the ball. Not sure why he isn't playing basketball.

Depends on the sport. I will sum it up like this. There are not enough committed athletes for football. Basketball things are fine except the girls teams.

Coaches get together and vote on the all league team. Our shukc team is a discussion between Vernon and I.

How about some softball questions my first night back? If presented an option then it is unlikely I would choose a school in the city. The why is complicated.

Justin Phillips of Basehor is a good sophomore. Has helped lead his team to a 6-2 record and a shot at the playoffs.
