Luke Long still led the way I believe. if long, Eskina and Jennings all play well along with owens they will he tough. Schneider, Jackson and lendway for Lansing.

That is a good question and that is what I said it was a combination of going undefeated and a game winner. If they win in a blow out I really doubt it.

Muldoon has at times been the best player on the court. Younger has been well defended the couple of times I have seen them live. I do however know what type of player he is and can be.
I don't believe you were the one being called out by anyone last night, as you weren't the one defending the storming of the court and then calling Piper classless. It's over, Lansing won. Shouldn't they be concentrating on sub-state right now?
Its all good and yes everyone should turn the page. I really believe Vernon and I speak very openly about the games and sometimes it can get misinterpreted or offend. It is 100% ok to talk through it constructively. I have said all day today. The alternative is no one cares. We are however here to celebrate these young adults so lets not lose site of it. Sometimes it is ok to tip your cap.

Emotions were high and that conversation is being discussed on the side. I don't necessarily cheer for anyone. I do sometimes make picks and this season I picked the Pirates in basketball. I was wrong for the first and only time. No damage at all.
Big Lion fan here, but kudos to Piper on a great game last night. You played with a ton of heart and left it all on the court. Best of luck in sub-state.

You are welcome but I want to make sure the whole crew is recognized. Great season of broadcasting capped by yet another good game. Mark Snyder, Vernon Birmingham, Moses Wyatt, Bryan Watson, Luis Fasani, Dennis Murphy, Hannal Strobel, Jason Frank all contributed to making these games look fantastic. Piper administration has been overly tight on sportsmanship. Even more so than last year. Can you see its effects?
just look at attendance and non existent student section. I promise it will get worse year to year. just head to a kcal game as a case study.
why don't you stick to sports & coverage on good players & coaches instead of being so damn worried about student sections & storming the court. leave those things to students and administrators. it isn't your job. STICK TO SPORTS
None of this is my job. It is all a topic because the fans of the teams and players make it a topic. Its Friday and I am sure we can talk about all of it constructively.
If you look at the 'KVL confessions' twitter account the challenge to storm came from there. Look at who they follow and the 1 pic posted and it appears Lansing challenged themselves, that is, if you can get past the other ugly and classless tweets to find it. And they accuse you of fanning flames!

Re: tthe thrown Gatorade bottle. It DID NOT come from the student section. I was sitting right behind you and saw it come from the lower corner just behind the Piper bench. Student section was being patrolled by Piper teachers to insure good behavior. Now back to sports....

Younger is a very talented player and Basehor has a great shot at a title. I think Younger does put up quite a few shots, but if his coach gives him the green light, his teammates support him, and he can consitently knock them down, I say keep firing away!
If you are shooting and making half your shot he should shoot 20+ ! game if he wants. I agree.

You've commented on this, but to be clear, Piper most definitely challenged Lansing to rush the court tonight w/ "Hey Lansing, winner of the game charges the court." I understand that its odd & unusual but Piper student section responded by throwing water bottles, then calling Lansing classless??
I can confirm the blue Gatorade bottle being thrown. very unfortunate. this all is really taking away from the game. so while the fans were silenced they are having an impact in the end.

Its not visiting but overall it is not supposed to happen. piper right now is the only school pushing to enforce the rule and it is having an impact. Lansing may as well been playing a home game. parents and students at piper need to speak up on this one. you will crush a fan base trying to quiet your crowd.
Whoever says Younger shoots too much is STUPID ! Look at the stats do your research before you flap your trap. I've been blessed to have coached Chase for years. If anything he sometimes doesnt shoot enough ! Basehor has great unselfish teammates who know who's hot and gets them the ball !
