Koch could improve and be even more consistent. Brenden Dotson has another year.

The question asked is very valid. I have done 3 player spotlights for just Piper players and sure they would like to see their players spotlighted. I just want to share that Piper as a school has chosen to buy into SHUKC as a resource, a free one at that. Many schools have. Lansing, Sumner, Atchison, Schlagle all share film with me this year for basketball and football. I can't stress enough about Krossover though as a tool. I am here to help all 14 schools and if you reach out it is not likely I will say no but I do have to balance time. I do them as I get the time to sit and do it. I also see this year more than last stats are available too.
i would think at least one of your "spotlight players" would come from basehor! always has to be a piper player
I would love to. I may do some Lansing players as well. Three keys. 1. They asked. 2. They use Krossover. 3. I get access to it. Basehor took a step forward having the broadcasts live online and the replays available but downloading them and then parsing through them takes a lot of time. I honestly download, trim and create these highlights in an hour out of Krossover which is a superior tool for creating basketball highlights. Hudl is also a pain unless you know exactly where to get the information. So no disrespect to Basehor. Despite what some may believe I think highly of the players and coach.
Why did you not put Marshall at least as an honorable mention for KCAL league? Jefferson should be on the KCAL's 2nd team at least don't you think?
This is a list from the coaches not me. My list will be later and will consider players from both leagues. Marshall sat a lot of league games so I have no problem with him not being on the list. Jefferson to replace who? It is my personal preference but KCAL coaches get to add a player in the mix because they don't name the POY to the team. So in my eyes you need to kick two off.

GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! How was that? I have to tell you that the play by play guy for the Mexican channel is amazing when they finally score. So I get soccer is growing in the city but I honestly struggle with games like soccer and hockey. You can go 90 minutes and score once. I do however have an incredible appreciation for the sport that I know for a fact I can't compete in.

I am in the lab getting information. watching some McPherson film. league teams will be announced and working on contacting people for the all star game. I am here answering almost any question.

Depends on the situation.

I don't know that one. I have never seen them play. if sumner has some scout tape though I may watch and see.

To be very honest they were in a soft substate. They were the #1 seed with a losing record. They handled business though to get to take the trip. They have a nice crop of young talent with a couple of senior leaders mixed in. Their bigs work hard and they have one of the most athletic small forwards in our area.
Is el dorado a threat to Basehor?
I don't know much about them. They are 13-9 and went 3-6 in their league. Their last loss was against a team that only won 8 games this season. They beat an 11-10 team in the substate final so they didn't have a great track record. I have to believe that if Basehor comes out and plays the way they are capable they will move on.
Favorite in 4a? 5a?
There is no favorite in 5A. If someone says there is they are kidding themselves. 4A I honestly don't know enough about the other squads. I do know McPherson is a perennial power.
Whose the players to look out for on Sumner's team?
If this is a McPherson fan then you should watch out for all of them!!
What do you think of Lansing set up at state
There really is no good setup. they do avoid HP but Eisenhower is also a 1 lose team. I don't know much about the 18-4 team Eisenhower has to play but year in and out the Witchita schools bring it. I think they should be extremely confident in the first game. The 3 teams Lansing will have played in this tournament will have 3, 12, 11 wins. That is just 4 more wins that they have on their own.
You think Sumner Academy can advance to state?
They already did. They will not be the favorites but every tournament needs a Cinderella.

Be sure. any doubt what so ever don't do it.

When next year comes around, are you going to cover any soccer?
It really depends on what I decide to do with the TV broadcast. If we decide to trash that idea it is more likely. If we do go ahead with a TV game then my time will be all the more limited. We will see.
There has been a lot of talk lately about Athletes not making grades. Let's go the other way, do any of the athletes you mention often have a 4.0 that you know of? Now that would be an accomplishment!
First athlete that I got a scholarship app for has 3.7. agree with spotlighting the good. student athlete of the week or something.
