Porter is a stud two-way player and probably one of Lansing's best blockers, often cutting off his routes to protect his QB. Hopefully he gets a shot at the next level.

Berry was probably the #2 QB in the area, but had a very young line. Jackson had a very good line and is a tremendous athlete, but was more of a runner. Abbott has a great arm, and escapes the D very well to create opportunities to throw those deep balls to Bailey, McQillian and Banks (sleeper).
Porter had a big year as well. three receivers in the top 10 in the league. Jordan relied on his running mates. they also slowed down toward the end of the years. I am a huge Jackson fan. we just thought Abbotts numbers didn't lie.

I think the KVL honors are fair because I would take Jackson over any other quarterback in the league.
League honors are not about who you would take. it is about the season they had. Paul Berry is the best all around but he didn't have a good year.

Why do you think Abbott is so good? All he did was toss it up to the best wide receiver in the state. Anyone could have done that.
Not true. that is a fair arguement. If it was that easy wouldn't the qbs from basehor thrown for almost 3000 yards with Ben Johnson last year? Does a good receiver help? sure but it is like saying a running back isn't good because of a good o line. He played the hand he was dealt well.

New in town and enjoy following, great job! I went up to the Y in Bonner to shoot around with a friend and saw some local kids playing. CJ from Piper and some twins from Bonner. There was a bigger kid that I was told was another Sophomore from Bonner and looked pretty good too, ideas???
I have heard of the young group at Bonner. i know Josh Adams as he came to work out with us as well over the summer. They are a year away for sure.

I wouldn't go that far. I don't think they have the best players but what they have is a solid crop of good players.

I really don't know. I do know that Pahls will be a year older from last years team.

Unproven athleticism. I have heard about the young ones but even the players from this year will be unproven. the dotsons will be key. can Brandon be the oh they couldn't find last year. can his brother share the ball? if Bonner plays with a get yours off the boards attitude they will get smashed. You need not look no further than the assist column to know how this team is doing.
