That is why I said I don't know his back ground. if he has no experience in this setting then yes he needs to be prepared. first time head coach is going to be tough to build off coach Brown. In terms of building a consistent winner I don't know. he is going to have the same issue as basketball. Hispanics are not big time in this sport and they are the majority. I break most things down to math and the cards are stacked.

from rockridge and he was a defensive coordinator there. I have heard good things about this program in Columbia, mo. I don't know his back ground. I shared my number with him and am hoping to hear from him to learn more.

Is running Shukc hard?
I would say yes and no. the main thing about running the site is time. free and family time suffer with doing this but I really have a passion for what we are doing. technically a lot of it is hard to figure out but in the end it isnt hard. my major thing I have on my side is organization. helping a billion dollar business keep its computer systems running is hard which makes shukc easier.

x factor to schlagle improving next year. Jordan is a thinker. we will see if coach Leslie gives him the confidence to just play and let his skill show up.

I honestly have not heard a word. I sent an email over to wyandotte today about our combine. get these young men working at least. same with Lansing. I hate waiting this long.

With Jordan Young leaving Sumner Academy how will this affect Sumner for next season?
The biggest effect would be on defense. Young provided the Sabers with a lockdown defender. Perkins and Taylor will be out front though so another factor is depth and experience.

I understand the tie to Schlagle. I however have not heard that yet. I will follow up.
Most NAIA schools give 50-60% tops. This may seem great, except the schools often cost 15-20k a semester. You can get a lot in federal financial aid if you qualify, but getting academic scholarships, grants and other awards can make all the difference in the world!

Given the choice between a NAIA full ride scholarship or a scholarship to a JUCO, which do you choose?
Full ride. I value education as I don't get the opportunity I have received in my career. juco is a two year commitment vs four. there is a decision if you want to go d2 or d1 but I don't know the success rate. I see too many kids that sign juco and are back home the following summer.
Chase Younger and Dontae Gipson played together last summer on AAU team nice to see them back playing together again

All star baseball game?
I have thought about this one. The All Star game for basketball is viable because it can at least it did last year pay for itself and provide a fund raising opportunity for our broadcasting efforts through the ticket sales. Uniforms, gym, trophies, refs and other misc items run up roughly 2500 dollars. I just don't know if a baseball game would generate enough of a crowd to again make it viable. Not to mention the selection process would be a bear with stat availability etc.
