Comparing ward and piper is ridiculous. Ward hasn't beat piper in football in a long time. In the last four years piper is 6-2 against them in soccer. Ward beat piper in basketball the year they only won 2 games but that's about it. Not to mention piper has beat ward in the regular season series
Well now we are tracking soccer but not baseball? I am not sure what their record is in baseball. This is getting fun!!

I got to speak to a DII coach about both and he thought both have a shot at a D1 school. I will be 100% honest and I say I haven't seen Wyatt live. I obviously have seen Joe a number of times.

young up front and outside. piper and basehor are going through the same thing. it sucks for the seniors but it takes an expereinced team to win and right now piper is gaining that experience.

I will. I was honestly burned out by baseball season last year working to get the all stat game up and going. I will watch more.
Ward does not recruit players I'm pretty sure no school does that at all that was a stupid tweet.
recruiting is an exaggeration. they do get the ability to pull good players from a wide area. they are a private school so I don't see why it is a big deal even if they were.

What is keeping sumner from doing well?
Youth. All focus for Sumner should be on making improvement this week to prepare for the playoffs. I think this team has improved against the run. they have some things to work out passing the ball. can they beat Piper and Ward and get in the playoffs is the question.

These butt pirates need to realize Ward doesn't recruit athletes. The reason their baseball team is better than a lot of 4a schools may be because of the head coach who has won 9 state championships
sorry but coaches do not make players. he is likely a great coach bit players are coming there knowing that the program is good.
Where are these baseball "recruits" that kids talks about? I've seen no recruiting just kids going to ward from past success when they ran schools in baseball and from hurla being a good coach.
Having a historically good baseball program and then baseball players coming to the school for that reason is likely misinterpreted at recruiting. I don't think as a private school it should matter either way.
