Justin Phillips will make enough plays with Austin edenger in the back field to get a win. Austin Roberts and Ryan Potter will keep the Tongie offense in check. 14-12 basehor

There you go!

Although they fell short, did you catch Wheeler at QB for the stallions on Thursday? Pretty good performance despite the L.

Was there for the 3rd quarter. Saw the long TD that got called back. One of the best balls I have seen thrown this year.

Good teams don't need to trash talk to get in their opponents head. Basehor big Friday.

Agree. Good philosophy.

Well that was a dumb question about Basehor. This game will be close and it will come down to which team is more discipline. Basehor is missing McPherson, Muldoon, Roberts, Kenton and their kicker.. Rollo I believe? Tongie is playing good theses at couple weeks.Waiting to see the score of that game!

They were up 14-13 against Piper. If they contain Sommers then they should win.

Definitely keep an eye out for Tavia Holt, on of the senior guards for Schlagle Girls Basketball.

All Star possibility for the Stallions. Ok.

Basehor isn't beating Tongie. Basehor has way to many injuries. Austin Roberts has been hurt and kills there defense. He's the main injury for that team. Tongie is ready to win

Shots fired!!

If Henley can play basketball could him and Cerda Possibly have something and get the Cyclones a few wins?

Henley said he isn't playing. I doubt it though.

Do you think Bonner is going to do well this Friday?

I don't know what it is about districts but each of the last 3 years they have not been able to keep it together for these last 3. Sure I think they can win against St. James. I thoughts so last year as well. I am rooting for them but they looked deflated after Mill Valley punched them in the mouth.

I'm sorry, I meant football

It will be tough having missed these last few games and that they won't make the playoffs. His numbers would really have to stand up. In the KCAL it is no question. For SHUKC again we will have to see. Conner Byers was a run away last week but he had his first hiccup. He has a chance though this week to redeem himself and make a playoff game. Marcell Holmes was quiet as well against Mill Valley. Christian Jegen stepped up big time and I am also watching Sterling Owens if he is going to get enough touches to get his numbers up. We have had 1 RB and 2 QB's win the first 3 years we have presented it.

Do you think Stallbaumer of Basehor deserves any consideration for coach of the year? Turned a team's record around very quickly.

He will be in our discussion for sure. The knock against him will be the 2 blow outs against rivals but if he makes the playoffs then yes it will be a good story. If he some how wins a playoff game then he is cooking with oil.

You have a short list for kcal POY huh?

I named two from each league. You really only have 3 teams who will have a player to compete for it. POY is saying who is the best player in the league. It shouldn't be long.

Possible POY candidates for girls basketball?

Jessica Wayne, Julianne Jackson, Brown at Schlagle, Patton at Sumner are a few.

Who might be some key players who stand out to you this year for basketball in the KCAL ?

Many I am looking forward to. nunnally, Bass, Brooks, Gill Luster and their forward. jerel i believe. Hards mcneal coleman. Kcal is going to be fun.

Anthony Cerda transferred to ward last year but he came to late to play he will be playing for Ward this season!

I watched his highlight he had out there. Not sure the competition level. Ward will likely struggle.

Any d2 or NAIA level players from Basehor?

Dalton Inlow and Broc Lindsey made their way on NAIA rosters last year and I think there are a couple of players like Boston Henry that could make a roster. I would need to check and see who all are seniors.

Potential in Bonnel

Depends on how much he grows. He is small for a linebacker. Obviously has a nose for the ball.

What's Piper's quarterback situation?

Banes and wietharn (spelling) have both taken snaps. Piper has built depth. Banes plays both ways and can get rest with a good second option.
