I like McQuillan and Lorenzen as a foundation. point guard is a concern.
What do you think tongie has to do in order to win? Score prediction?
Get Atchsion off the field. Punts are good. score a lot of points. I would go 35-14 Atchison.

Last few years at Mill Valley have been good. The 2010 and 2011 Schlagle lines I am a bit partial too as well.

Yes they do. I just think Atchison has more and more experience. The question was who i thought would win not if Tongie has weapons or not.
What will be KVL boys and girls basketball top teams this coming season?
Piper for girls and Mill Valley boys. need to sort out transfers as Basehor will be good again.

They have one of the top 3 QB's i cover. two good receivers and a good rb. they have a good core group of defenders back. They have more team speed as well.

Any Mill Valley Basketball players to keep an eye on this year?
They went to state and return a good number of players. Koch is hopefully healthy, Holmberg and Kaifes.
Did people really think mill valley would loose to Lansing last week? I mean really they lost 50-6 last year..
No one really thought that.
Do you see a early favorite in KCAL girls basketball? Will Schlagle fall off? Is Washington in the mix at the top?
Sumner and Schlagle will battle again. We will have to see how much better Lawson and Vaughn hot over the summer.
You think Mill Valley basketball can handle the EKL with all there seniors leaving?
Worry about the KVL this year.
Prediction on KCAL boys basketball top to bottom?
Man that is tough. league will be a mess trying to see who steps up. Atchison will have the best player. Schlagle should be good if their players step up and play like they are capable.

Tristan miline is how good?
He is a big part of this offense. He is a threat in the Mill Valley back field. He was the offensive player of the game against Derby.
How do you feel about mill valley going to the EKL? Do they have any chance of doing good next year? They have no depth past the seniors beside about 5 or 6 positions and the quarterback is an issue do you start Fleming or the freshman talley?
Any team sporting that many senior returning starters is going to take a step back. I wouldn't dream of talking about next year when this team has such high potential up to including a state title. At least 5 times harder than any other state championship in ks high school sports.

Is Cole Morris and Anthony Brown from Mill Valley the best defensive end combo in Kansas?
I really wouldn't know enough about everybody to say. Morris has a good frame especially height to be effective at DE. They may have combined for one of the top plays of the year against Derby with the tip and then pick 6.

I don't know. The choices speak to the sad state we are in.
Your prediction for Mill Valley/St. James game?
Mill Valley big. St James has a shallow 6-0 record. They have played 2 winless teams. teams they have played have won 12 games combined. desoto probably their toughest game. The QB Keith is their top weapon as he runs and throws the ball. same as Lansing last week. They just haven't see a team like Mill Valley.
Do you know if Anthony Brown from Mill Valley is getting any D1 attention? The kid is a beast!
I haven't heard. We obviously think highly of him naming him to our All SHUKC Team. he is no doubt getting looks with all t he prospects at Mill Valley.
