How do you feel about Pipers linebackers?
Piper basically plays 7 linebackers up front. I am going strictly off the top of the dome but I doubt anyone in their front weighs more than Colton. They are a very good group that can get after the QB.

One of the most physically gifted players in the area. He really reminded me of my cousin Vernon. Make a break year for him this year.

I will talk with Vernon. I am hopeful we can do it at the Y again this year. He just got back from the junior olympics so will give him some time.

I forget the big kids name but they should do better this year minus the drama. Koch can hopefully improve and will have to be strong every night. They will contend in kvl.

I have Mill Valley, Bonner, Basehor, Turner and Atchison. I hope to have them all in by the time school starts.

Its not impossible. Lansing will be another tough game and I don't know how good Leavenworth will be. Wyandotte gave them an L last year so it is not out of the question but they are dropping down to 5A this year. I tried to put Schlagle and then Washington in the playoffs out of the KCAL. It should be their goal but I am not going to predict it until I see it. I don't know that there is enough numbers at Washington putting in the time over the summer. If your best players aren't able to lock in then it will be tough. KCAL needs a playoff team besides Atchison sneaking into 4A getting to play Ward and Sumner.

I answered this before. For the sake of avoiding conflicting with myself I will abstain. I have picked Piper to win the KVL this year. Lansing I think will be up there as well.
