because I don't get enough of them consistently to make the list relevant. also tackles are a subjective stat from team to team. some are pretty generous with the assisted tackles.

yes. Colton Beebe was our winner last year. defense is damn hard and takes stat and film review. offense is usually pretty simple. I haven't watched everyone yet to declare a front runner.

Do you think it's unfair for mv to be in the kvl? Look at it both ways. They destroy all the 4a teams in every sport so it makes all the other teams look bad. But then look at it from their side. They destroy kvl then get their asses handed to them when they reach playoffs in every sport.
you can make that arguement but it doesn't hold water in all cases. don't diminish what coach Applebee is doing. Harmon has 1295 students and they won't win a game. three years ago basehor won league and mv will not be a favorite in basketball.

its hard to judge because overall the team struggles. Barnhart is undersized but has a world of heart. tucker, Wooten could land at a school.

But here's the real question, do you think mill valley could make a run in the playoffs this year?
That will test the limits of my 5A knowledge. I only have 3 or 4 5A schools that I cover and I don't pay close attention. Any team built with a strong offensive and defensive line however is built to win in the playoffs however. Their offense is very focused on running the QB. Tonganoxie fought hard so imagine a program on the same level size wise as MV. Lansing vs MV is becoming very intriguing to me to see how they handle the passing attack.
So what's your prediction for MV going further on in the season? KVL champs? Undefeated?
Looks likely. They have one more test next week against Bonner Springs. No denying what they have accomplished on defense this year. Shutting down Bonner would be the nail in the coffin.

Game of adjustments as you will hear on the broadcast at 3:00 PM on This TV. Dumler was floating to the outside and I thought at least early Piper did a good job of running away from him. They gave up over 100 yards to Travon Jones but for the most part played good defense.

That's fine. Two carries though is a bit of a stretch to say that he should be splitting carries with a senior leader on the team. Housh is crushing both receiving and passing. Welch's time will come.

Housh had 30 carries for 191 yards. I am not sure I agree with that one.
Best kicker and punter in KVL?
Luciano Fasani may be my favorite player in the SHUKC area after meeting him last night. Best place kicker I have seen so far. Punter has probably been Colton Beebe. I haven't watched that closely on punting.
