What's the most important quality a student athlete should have?
Bring blessed with size is important. Being socially responsible is a plus as well. Some can't help it though. Home training is very important. Bring mature is right up there as well.

Vernon Vaughn I got to see first hand. Krystian Abbott from Lansing is a work horse. Brian Cobbins and Derrick Gibbs from Schlagle. These are just the ones I saw because they came out with us. From the past J'Veyon, Steve Williams are relentless workers.
Do you think the Murphy twins might play at K-State
I hope they could possibly get on as walk ons. I know they worked their asses off to get back into playing shape. I saw them over the summer and both had 40 point games against decent competition.

Colin Murphy, Joe Schneider, Dimonic McKinzy. Second and third level thinkers. Not many out there.

Jennifer Whiteledge. That may be hands down overall.

Key guys you'll miss covering from last year? And why will you miss them
Well some I get to keep covering. All the young men I worked with in making a highlight or recruiting obviously. Browning, Ambler, Potter, McDonald are just a couple off the top of my head. The good thing about each of them is that they are still playing. I can get even more pleasure out of watching them at the next level.
Who will be the key players/positions for piper to beat Eudora?
The RB by committee have to have a big game to hopefully control the clock. Eikenbary's ability to get the ball down the field and limit turnovers is crucial. Jonathan Ortiz establishing himself early will be a huge key. Colton Beebe of course. How much can he do in one game on both sides of the ball. I want to see Khalil Richard become a house hold name in KCK.

I officially picked Piper. If Ballock isn't playing then Eudora is really coming in without some key contributors. Watch Rivers who will be key for Eudora to travel to Piper and get a win. Great week 1 game.
What do you think Lansing's record will be this year? Will they get a playoff berth?
That will be iffy this year. I doubted them last year and they got a huge win against Schlagle with a lot of the same players they have now. Washington will be the key game on whether they get to the playoffs. I think they can beat Schlagle and Mill Valley will be strong. Washington vs Lansing is very big game determining their playoff fate.

Tongie! I will pick them through out. I am a huge fan of senior leadership and this team is not void of talent. They know how to play and win close games and will provide a stiff road test for Lansing out the gate. I do however expect this to be a good game.
