Which flavor of ice cream is your favorite??

When eating an ice cream cone, rum & raisin.

When eating ice cream with a sticky toffee pudding or apple crumble, I prefer vanilla or vanilla custard as I want something that cooperates with the pudding rather than trying to impose its own will on the dish.

Are you a friendly person?

I hope I am! But I fear I'm not always friendly when at work as I get tired & stressed due to working too much; not rude, but rather giving an air of being unapproachable, which I never wanted to do.

~Mappery~ ? Can you understand most maps? ? Can you read grid references? ? Have you ever navigated on a road trip? ? Are you good at giving directions? ? When you do give directions, do you imagine yourself at ground level, or looking down on the route?

Yes, I can understand a world map, a road map, and an ordnance survey map, which is my main way of navigating when out on my country or city walks.
Yes, and yes :)
I always look down on the route as I follow the map and imagine which way I'm going, what's left and right, and which way to navigate so I can give directions to the driver if I'm a passenger in a car. I pride myself on quickly thinking my route and making changes when necessary, which I don't think satnav-reliant people are able to do when their satnav leads them astray.
If maps take your fancy I highly recommend this book!

I want all homeless animals to have homes where they're welcomed.

This is a commendable wish. Have you tried offering to do voluntary work at an animal sanctuary where you live, walking dogs, etc?

Which activities or hobbies make you lose track of time?

Reading books! I'm reading Daniel Defoe's account of his tour of Britain in 1728 and it's strange to think the area I'm now in (Cromford, Derbyshire) was a rural backwater in his day and roads were notoriously bad so very few non-locals went there.
But later on, the thermal springs at what is now Matlock Bath attracted tourists (many redundant lead miners, laid off when the seams they worked were exhausted, became guides) and then the legendary Richard Arkwright set up two factories here, when at the same time Jedediah Strutt was doing a similar thing downstream.
After the decline of these industries it became even more touristy (my dad and granddad visited me and took half an hour to find a parking space) but is a first-rate place for historians to come to, though Defoe couldn't have had any idea!
