Amazon Prime or Netflix?

chocochipcookie984’s Profile Photo◦•●◉✿Becky✿◉●•◦
I don’t actually have either, I pay the licence fee but don’t want to spend money on other subscriptions.
I got Netflix to watch the last kingdom and seven kings must die, then cancelled afterwards, as I think subscriptions (as opposed to buying a dvd ) are just a fancy way of making you pay more, and Apple is if anything even worse than the above named for this.

Do you pay for a private pension?

Fontaine
Yes, I and my employer contribute to a work pension, which I think is the case for almost everyone who is employed in britain since 2015.
It won’t be much but I’ll have paid my mortgage off a year before I get to state pension age so I’ll be able to live off the state & private pension after I get a discount on council tax and a bus pass.

How do you feel about the retirement age going up to 71?

Shannon678900’s Profile PhotoShannon
I do actually think it’s understandable given that people are living longer. Because so few children are being born, at some point immigration will not make up for the falling number of workers, therefore we will need to pay for our old age.
This is why all political parties agree and those who didn’t directly bring in one raising of the age, are still going to keep it when they get in.

What was the last book you read?

Bands_Over_Food’s Profile PhotoCheri
Haven’t read a book since my holiday in December.
The new Bernard Cornwell book. Sharpe’s Command, is the next book I will read. I have followed the adventures of Richard Sharpe since 1996, so am glad he’s still marching on, albeit I don’t know what’s happened yet!

What opinion on asda by summer 2024 they going to be a fully cashless do you agree or disagree on cashless society ?

missygls’s Profile Photoᴳᴸメ
I think it’s an awful idea as it discriminates against older & poorer people and the ‘ringfenced cash’ leads to money being taken from accounts and often not returned for days, which should not be allowed.
I think this only applies to petrol stations though, not to the whole supermarket?

If a villain, don’t hang round torturing and mocking your enemies, even if it’s fun. That just makes it more likely they’ll escape or be rescued.
Instead, kill them quickly or pay someone else to do it, then you can get on with villainy knowing that they’re safely dead!

Boat that sailed past me on the Manchester Ship Canal through Ellesmere Port, taking (presumably) gas to be docked.
It is from Liberia, I found.
