Favorite ice cream? ?

I like rum & raisin if I'm just eating a bowl of ice cream, but it's with something else ( a sticky toffee pudding or a pie) it should be vanilla or vanilla custard to avoid too many flavours.

Here is the idea of the question because I received few questions to explain it ---> Loneliness can be very addictive! it can be dangerous too. It's just a weird thought.. Have a nice day/night?

I understand what you mean in a sense.
Loneliness is different to solitude, I would be happier being alone than surrounded by people I don't feel connected to. The deepest loneliness comes from being in a crowd of strangers.
What you appear to be saying, have you seen the film Taxi Driver? Because I think this may refer to someone who chooses to be a loner.

Why haven't they included loneliness in the list of the most dangerous drugs in the world?

I don't know, it should be!
I do feel lonely sometimes as I don't spend enough time with my girlfriend or my friends, due to spending too much time with my workmates, who are ok but I don't have much in common with them.
I agree it's a problem, I'd suggest dealing with it by doing voluntary work in a field you're interested in alongside like-minded people, as that brings all kinds of benefits, does something useful and gives you a feeling of achievement.
Thankfully I'm seeing my girlfriend tomorrow! But on Monday I'll be singing the old song.

Do you like to go to Chinese restaurants? What's your usual order?

I go to Chinese restaurants, I like soup & then satay :)
My girlfriend lives very near this place & we've called in several times, not for a few months but we may be going there very soon as it's Chinese New Year.

And there's an old-school sweet shop very near by, next to a museum, I'd have sweets for dessert if you're offering!

This is a very noble sentiment which I agree with.
I was reminded of one of my favourite poems, by my favourite poet of all. It was often on my mind when I was in the part of the world he wrote about.

But of course it was about all of human life, not just that place, and seems relevant to the themes of human conflict, healing, and embracing many sides of oneself.

If you could call yourself five years ago and had 30 seconds, what would you say?

I would tell my younger self to stop being so stubborn & proud (typical macho attitude) & get treatment for the hypothyrodism, thus avoiding two wasted years.
Friends, if you think there may be something amiss, get it checked out today! Because often you will need the help and should admit that.

What exhibitions or museums are you interested to visit?

I love museums fam!
The next place I want to visit is a stately home.

I hope to go next weekend, I've long been interested in the lives and times of the Devonshires, especially after visiting their arch-rivals the Curzons.

Since reading Decline and Fall of the British Aristocracy by David Cannadine I've been fascinated by families like the Curzons and the Devonshires, so I look forward to visiting the Devonshire home as they were a force to be reckoned with socially, economically and politically and I need a trip to their stately home :)

how are you doing?)

I'm a bit tired due to working all day and I'm facing a challenge not only of working in my job tomorrow but the work of uploading my pictures.
But also feeling positive because they will be good pictures of my weekend trip :)

Continuing the theme of the last question which was cut short due to space.
Although I am agnostic on the question of whether God exists I often attend Anglican churches and this was Sunday evening at a traditional 1662 evensong. (before hearing Henry Rollins give a lecture on his round the world travels).
The Regimental Chapel, at this time of the 100th anniversary of World War 1, was very sombre as it was dimly lit given that it was dark outside and this fitted the sober, reflective mood.

What place do you recommend as a must-see?

It depends where you live mate, which area are you in and how much time and money do you have for travel?
I do recommend a tour of World War 1 battlefields. In March 1918 the Kaiser launched his spring offensive, hoping to crush the west in the window of opportunity he sighted between Russia leaving the war and America joining it, so a lot was happening in "gallant little Belgium" this time 100 years ago!

The battlefields, the museums, and some wonderful provincial towns like Ypres, Ghent & Bruges.
When I went there I was in the earliest stages of hypothyrodism so my recollection isn't perfect and I really need to go back! Walking around Courtrai in the morning was such a peaceful feeling and set me up for the day's adventures, which if you live in Europe you may be able to embark on!

You a specific question. There is Russia, which continues its military aggression in Ukraine. Forget for Britain and Trump. I mean, you know that the Crimea is occupied and Eastern Ukraine, Putin's army is opposed to the Ukrainian army.

Yes, I'm aware of Russian aggression in Ukraine. But I don't think I'm in a position to do anything about that?

Why is Russia still at war with Ukraine killing Ukrainians on their land? What you need to do to Putin to stop the war?

I don't know mate. Russia is calling all the shots now they've hoiked people into supporting Trump & Brexshit & I don't know what's next :(
Why is Russia still at war with Ukraine killing Ukrainians on their land What

I laughed so hard my eyes teared up imagining Ben as a wild man in the woods. thanx

You're welcome :)
In The Wake by Paul Kingsnorth, a group of Anglo-Saxons do this to resist the Norman Conquest. It came to mind that Ben, despite his pretensions of being a hardcore alpha male, would be incapable of doing such a thing, so it's difficult to take seriously his tough guy pose.
That book isn't for everyone but I found it intriguing.
