Where would you want to go on vacation if you could go anywhere?
I’d go to Austria and, after my week in Vienna eating & drinking and taking in the Habsburg culture, would walk & cycle it off in the Hohe Tauern.

No, I’m still friends with some people I was at university with though (2003-6).

Are you going on a holiday this year?
Yes, I’m going to Delamere Forest at Easter, to Edinburgh & Glen Affric in late April. And to the Lake District in June, and to Wales in August.

Yes, since reading Bruce Chatwin’s book ‘In Patagonia’ and watching the Welsh/Argentine film ‘Patagonia’ I’ve taken an interest in South America. I think it’s unlikely I’ll go there though, as it’s too far off and expensive.

Yes, I used to like them as they had a unique taste unlike other sweets. Think they got banned though?
I crave sweets when exercising. Even though I don’t like jellybeans, I was longing for some jellybeans full of 1990s additives when cycling today. But instead, ate a normal meal and a normal (for me) dessert, followed by raisins.

How have you been lately?
I’ve been working too hard but I’m going back to Scotland in April (edinburgh for 2 days then the highlands for a week then another day in edin) and I’m going to be with some people who absolutely slam, so I’m buzzing about that.

What's your opinion on couples that don't live together?
I don’t live with my girlfriend and she refuses to live with me because she lives with her parents and wants to stay where is. So my answer is, it’s not ideal but it happens.
