Why do girls glue eyelashes on their eyelashes?

I don't know fam, I personally dislike bad fake eyelashes and think they can ruin a face, I've seen several that had me scratching my head at what made her think it was a good idea, but it's their decision?

If you were in charge of recruitment for your own company, which one question (that deviates from the norm!) would you ask applicants to work out if they were a good fit? Why that question?

origamibirds’s Profile Phototea.
Excellent question, I'm from the class that gets interviewed rather than doing the interviewing so I've not thought about it, except I agree conventional questions are bs.
"Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"
"Doing your job"
(more likely) How the hell should I know?
I think I'd follow the Mo Mowlam approach, as described in the book Servants of the People by Andy Rawnsley.
"Behind Mowlam's desk in her London office, she hung a particularly excremental piece of modern art. A splodge of dirty white, the painting was entitled Discipline Over Desire. Mowlam called it her bullshit detector. She would ask visitors for an opinion of the painting. Anyone who claimed to like it was not to be trusted".
Sadly I can't find that painting but you get the gist!

Is Wikipedia a help or not?

It has its uses, I use it, so long as it's not taken too seriously as a source; I'd certainly check claims made there against an academic source. But as a preliminary to research and a signpost to further research, it can be used.
If you use it the right way it's thus a help, I hope your searches are interesting & accurate.

Where are you giong to get education?

I have no plans to enrol in formal education at university or anything, I'd like to but I need to earn my living through working in accounts.
But I do enjoy these educational audiobooks and hope you find something interesting & informative there!

Fascinating stuff, see if you can get a discount & launch your own voyage of discovery!

I met this woman online, she’s a National Socialist like me and we just clicked, within 30 minutes we was exchanging pictures, we spoke about meeting and making White children, but the only thing is though I’m 22 and she’s 35, do you think that’s gross? Her son is 3 years younger than me.

Does she mind you being married to that woman you met a couple of weeks ago

Do you always tell people what you really think about them?

No tbh, I've got too much to lose (for instance, I'd lose my livelihood if I told my co-workers my candid views on them).
If I heard I had 6 months to live I'd do that though, go out with a bang by properly laying down the law to people I don't like :)

At what age should we start thinking about wedding?

When you meet a person you love & who loves you enough to get married, not when your family or "the community" thinks.
If you want to form a monogamous union, children, etc then I hope you find someone you can do that with, it's your decision and I hope you make one that works out.

China is launching a crackdown on funeral strippers. Some rural communities in China hire them to boost numbers, as a large attendance is seen as a way of honouring the deceased. Do you think this is intrusive behaviour by the government?Or should it be banned as a tacky way to send off the dead?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
I'd never heard of this custom until now!
It certainly seems a strange and naff way to behave, I don't think it should be banned by the government (so long as the strippers aren't pimped or otherwise coerced it should be legal) but it should certainly be discouraged.
I agree with Huang Jinxiang's analysis here:

I assume you have seen the film "The Silence" which you asked me about. What did you think of it?

StephenInd’s Profile PhotoStephen Ind
I was very interested in it, I admire Martin Scorsese for confronting the real questions and making us think about them, it was a well-made film as well as having a fascinating dilemma at its core.
I was interested in the way, when a character capitulates, he does so not out of cowardice (as he may have done in a film by a lesser writer) but because he felt he owed it to its followers, he was put in an impossible bind by the power men and felt he had no alternative, though he would have gladly faced martyrdom if he thought it would be any use.
I couldn't help wondering what I would have done.
In 2016 I was in Indonesia and I was sitting in a shopping centre in Jogjakarta reading a book by GK Chesterton when someone went up to me and asked whether I was a Christian. Although I am agnostic on the existence of God, I said I was for the sake of that discussion, and he asked me lots of questions about Christianity which I tried to answer.
It was very strange and I wondered if he was some kind of religious policeman and what he wanted. But as it turned out he was just a harmless old man who had nothing better to do than go round talking to foreigners in a shopping centre. He was a Muslim but not a very devout one and didn't really know much about Islam, it was a very odd encounter and he was a harmless person but it did make me think what I'd do if I were one of those people in The Silence.
I appreciate that from your point of view you didn't like it but I found it fascinating.
To anyone, I'd recommend this film by one of our finest directors.

Elevator or stairs?

Stairs fam, it's a useful form of exercise and goes some way to undoing the damage done by sitting.
I'm at my standing desk now! A balance has to be struck, obviously it's unhealthy to exercise and stand 24 hours a day but I think most people (except manual workers) are too sedentary, so a reasonable amount of exercise should be done to make up for this, including stairs.
Also in correct English it's not an elevator, it's a lift ;)

What does the term "Harmless Flirting" mean? How would you define this?

Bocepous’s Profile PhotoRobin Hood
Harmless flirting should be a reflection of flirting with someone you're mutually attracted to.
It can be hard to navigate around this but make sure the person you want to flirt with is comfortable with it and (though this can be hard) don't let anyone push you into what you're uncomfortable with.
I hope you find a mutual to flirt with as it can be a harmless recreation, imo, but make sure it doesn't get out of hand & don't allow it to be done to you.
