This question might be a bit weird so just delete if it makes you uncomfortable but I am serious about wanting to know your opinions from guys about it. As a male, what did you think about girls having periods? Like were you interested, gross out, indifferent? It's still kinda secretive.

Don't worry about asking questions, you're welcome to.
I don't actually know! I don't have a sister and I've only had one girlfriend, I've been seeing her on and off for 5 years but we don't live together. As she has severe period pains, she never allows me to visit her on that time of the month, so I've never seen her in that state.
My opinion I suppose doesn't count for much, I wouldn't want to look at it but it's just a natural process?

This is footage of a recent “firenado” in the English county of Leicestershire. What’s the most interesting, frightening, powerful or spectacular natural phenomenon you have witnessed? https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/video/2018/aug/08/firenado-spotted-in-leicestershire-by-firefighter

Firstly, your link doesn't work, so this is a link to that phenomenon, which I'd urge everyone to watch as it's terrifying.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-derbyshire-45096685/firenado-develops-from-plastic-pallets-blaze-near-swadlincote
The noteworthy thing about this fire is that natural is exactly what it isn't! It was explicitly started due to human mismanagement, in this case of plastics, and most of the spate of fires is either explicitly caused by arsonists or exacerbated by climate change, which is a real thing even if Trump and his corporate donors don't want it to be.
A horrifying incident happened in my city in the same way

Let's have stiffer sentences for arson and wilful environmental damage and get these chavs put in jail!?

What was cool when you were young but isn’t cool now?

Britpop, I remember when I was about 11 you couldn't move for interchangeable jangly guitar bands that hardly anyone listens to now.
Then when I was a student, landfill indie became fashionable and has thankfully gone extinct.
https://noisey.vice.com/en_uk/article/rmjdvp/landfill-indie-johnny-borrell-razorlight-the-strokes-kooks-definitive-history
i don't actually know what's in the charts now because I no longer have any need to hear it.
I only like one mid 90s band and that's probably because they were never trendy, just bloody good musicians, so enjoy!

What’s the most interesting documentary you’ve ever watched?

Planet Earth 2, featuring living legend Dave Attenborough!
Hopefully it will have an inpact in persuading people to treat the planet more respectfully and in particular use less plastic.
Did you also see the programmes he made with Barry Obama & Liz Windsor?

What has your Ask.fm experience been like? I'm seeing some people put Ask down in my feed but I love this website! Maybe I've been lucky? I feel the good outweighs the bad. Wbu?

I like ask as it's a cool website where interesting peoplego and I'm sorry I don't have more time to spend here!

Would you rather have your breakfast in bed or on a patio?

I'd have my breakfast on the patio, maybe not exactly taking part in the world but facing it in a welcoming way.
By the evening I want to hibernate and ignore everyone but before people-ing has drained me I'd eat my breakfast facing out towards the universe from my hone, which would be in https://www.thecube.co.uk (where i could never hope to live in real life).
So that is where I would sit eating kaya toast & peanut butter :)

Under what circumstances do you block people on social media?

Certainly not for having a difference of opinion, but I do block people for being obnoxious and intolerable.
I only have so much time, and when I log on briefly before or after a day's work, I want to read interesting posts from people I can have a good interaction with (thankfully there are many such cool people on here).
Why then would I spend precious time reading and responding to the outspewings of someone like Ben Isaacs? Maybe if I had nothing else to do, but I have got something else to do.
There's a funny story though, I'm on a forum where I ignore two people for the above reasons and they've got a bitter feud with each other!
So they often have blazing rows, dominating a thread with their hatred for each other, and I barely even hear about it other than when someone I don't ignore remarks on it.

IF . . . . you could be an ELEPHANT for a day (a big African Beast!) , whom might you wish to put you trunk around, and swing about, like on a 'FAIRGROUND-RIDE' for a thrill ??! ~ ~ ~ ~ // ~ ~ ~ ~ (alternatively: to scare shitless?) !!

I'd pick up Donald Trump and not put him down until he agreed to do something about the environment.
Surely it's now obvious that environmental issues (yes, including climate change, and also deforestation, plastic pollution) are affecting both rich and poor around the world?
An elephant is in the best position to know this and I'd also bring some Ents along for backup.

Hello ? 1. How did your week go? 2. Is it just me or have you also been having trouble with anons and/or insidious accounts slipping into your feeds this week? For me it’s been a week of trolls, some of them trying to catch me out by starting off nice! Anyway, hope you are doing good ?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
Yes, that Ben Isaacs has resumed his trolling. I always wonder how he chooses the people to shout at across all his accounts. Does he have a hand-written list of all the people he hates?
My week went well, my brother who lives in Singapore is back for the summer so we did a lot of family stuff. He has gone to Helsinki (I'm jel!) so I won't see him fir a bit which is sad but I admit it's a relief that I can stop going out so much as I'm not made of money and I'm not a wild party animal.
This time last week I was in Wales and it was terrific.

I'm really pleased by how I captured the tides and I think the Led Zeppelin quote works as it describes the bittersweet nature of no longer being there.

I said to this Frenchie today “approximately 6000 or our men defeated 36000 of your men in the battle of agincourt, one of the many victories of the English over the French” this started when he was trash talking me on a game.

How are they your men?

What is the most boring job you can imagine?

Working in a warehouse, wtf is that all about?
When I was a student I worked in a warehouse and it was shit, we handled CDs and DVDs (some of an adult nature) and the first thing I did when for money was to put 80 CD singles of I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness into a box and put it back on the conveyor belt to be sent to a shop.
I hate that band, they were never any good, but if soneone was willing to pay me to put their songs in abox then I'd gladly take the money and get drunk.
I also worked in a factory and at Royal Mail, then I was unemployed, then I got a job working in accounts
(I'm not especially qualifiedto do this in a formal sense, byt I've since learnt the reason I got the job is that literally no one else applied!?)
But I know personally that some jobs are worse than the one I have now and unemployment is even worse, I don't needto imagine!?

This question is inspired by the recent news that the U.K. government has instructed corporations and organisations to stockpile food, medicine and blood in the case of a “hard” or “no-deal” Brexit. If there was some kind of disaster where you are which THREE NON OBVIOUS THINGS would you stockpile?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
I basically need my thyroid tablets to survive, so tablets and water would top the list (presumably money would be useless in this scenario).
Also, while a phobe and the internet may be out of use in the apocalypse, I'd need my ipod charger at all times, for what I should hope were obvious reasons.
Given that most things would no longer be any use, and I'm guessing "obvious" covers bottled water, the third non-obvious thing would be a bag of Waitrose fruit & nut mix as when I was planting trees and doing manual work on a Scottish hillside, it was what I needed to sustain me.
Of course, the best thing of all woukd be to leave things alone and stop buggering them up like Johnson and Rees-Mogg want to do as I haven't got their offshore investments, though I suppose their worldly wealth won't help them when the time comes.
Don't think I could outlive the legend though!

How do you get rid of stress and negative energy?

I generally don't, but have you tried swimming?
I swam in the sea at abersoch yesterday, whether it be the sea, a river or a lake (maybe a pool if you can't find a clean source of water outdoors but it isn't quite so good), the swim is what it's all about.
