Practically speaking, what is it like for you to be a cultural Christian? Do you attend church at Christmas and Easter? When you need to identify your religion on a form, do you pick Agnostic, Christian, or both?

Last census was in 2011 so I filed myself as atheist, which I then was. Would I call myself "Catholic" this time, I actually don't know.
I do find it odd to be surrounded by people who have never had any religious upbringing and for whom Christmas is just tacky music and tackier presents, I find it a bit dispiriting as I'd rather be at a good carol concert.

I go on a long-distance walk at Easter and after one legendary pilgrimage of 92 miles, I go to church in the town I'm in at each place. That has become part of my custom. since http://twosaintsway.org.uk/ in 2016.
Though I'm obviously not part of the politicisation of religion, which I find to be largely hypocritical & encouraging of false piety by cynical politicians.
I will be attending church tomorrow & listening to Rob Halford's Christmas album.

I've recently started to explore a few of the various art movements and styles. What is your favourite kind of art? Why do you like it so much? (If you don't like art, feel free to delete this or talk about something else you're interested in).

Probably pre-Raphaelite art, my girlfriend lives in Birmingham and we often visit the museum whose collection of said art is unsurpassed.

Visit the Anglican cathedral and you can see windows of this kind designed by Edward Burne-Jones, which are stunning.
My favourite of all is this painting by John Byam Shaw.

Have you heard the song "Who Loves The Sun" by the Velvet Underground? That explores very similar themes in music.

I see in on your tumblr you mention that you have both Roman Catholics and Puritans in your family tree and that you have decided to love both. Could I ask if yo are Catholic?

I'm an ex-Catholic, now agnostic.
My grandparents were one (Polish) Catholic, one Anglican, one Methodist and another Anglican (neither of the Anglicans were really religious).
I drifted away because, among other things, I noticed that most people around me were far from examples of Christianity and many went to church solely in order to get their children into certain schools.
The point I was making in my remarks is that I appreciate the heritage from both sides, as in my city at one stage most people were non-conformist Protestants and the Methodist church was practically the established church. Whereas Catholicism was more marginal, but was the tradition I grew up in.
So as I say I became an agnostic but I am a cultural Christian in the same sense that others are culturally Jewish or Muslim without being practising believers themselves.

What are some of your favourite churches in England?

StephenInd’s Profile PhotoStephen Ind
Well I'm a staunch supporter of the Gothic Revival so I'd single out my favourite of all time, tucked away in a small town in my home county.

Shrewsbury, a fantastic town, boasts two of my very favourites in the RC Cathedral and Saint Chad, and several other buildings I love.
I'd also mention this one which is fascinating because it's such a rarity.

the style it was built in went out of fashion just after it was built and it's one of only a handful of churches I've seen in that style (Birmingham Anglican cathedral is a distant cousin in style, but I can't think of any others in that style and most others are totally different).

Have you already prepared all your Christmas gifts?

Yes thanks, I'm proud of the presents I've bought this year \m/
The best one is the one I bought my mum, the book of the fantastic TV show.
http://www.independent.co.uk/travel/africa/levison-woods-walking-the-nile-the-challenge-of-a-lifetime-9987224.html
Lev Wood is a superb speaker, I've seen him give lectures twice, and, like all of the finest people, is from Staffordshire.
It's a but embarrassing to watch the TV shiw with my mum though, because she likes him and makes no secret of it!

Do you believe in personality type tests, MBTI an example. If so, what's your personality type?

Well, I think they have some value, I always type as INTJ and when you read the full description of the cognitive fuctions it's accurate.
I do think it's important to understand the meaning of how all the cognitive fuctions, not just the leading one, operate in a context. People get put off because they see the basic description and it seems to shallow and like guesswork, and it's often clumsily used by companies trying to pigeonhole people, but I'd recommend reading this.

What I find most interesting us the role of the tertiary function, as it's often neglected in analysis in life. As I have feeling as my tertiary function, I'm hardly the world's most sensitive soul but it's definitely there and shold be developed, not ignored.
https://www.psychologyjunkie.com/2017/11/20/myers-briggs-type-uses-tertiary-function/
The reason INTJs like INFPs so much, (a well-known phenomenon that certainly shows up in my record collection, at least half of which is of that type!) is that our tertiary function is their primary function, so they have fully developed a side of themselves that we want to develop in ourselves.
That may seem a but arcane but I think it should be understood in depth or it will just look like a horoscope.
What does an INFP sound like?

This weekend I've watched online as grown people tried to scam each other over a toy called a Fingerling which is apparently a robotic finger monkey. In your country/region, what is the BIG holiday season toy that everyone is trying to get?

I don't know mate, I've insulated myself so well from the trends that I don't even know what is fashionable, let alone care :)
Anyways I know what I'm after!

Mistletoe has been linked to fertility since ancient times, and became part of Xmas celebrations in the 1700s. The serving classes of Victorian England popularised the tradition of kissing under it. If there were no mistletoe species left in the world, what would you replace it with to kiss under?

Bluebells, perhaps?
http://www.gerrycambridge.com/pubpdf/bluebells.pdf
Here are some bluebells at an ancient wood, Parrots Drumble, near a stream that flows orange with waste from an old iron mine. And they are my joint favourite flowers with wild garlic, which doesn't fit with smooching for obvious reasons!
