Separating the art from the artist.... Name two celebrities who's "art" you can separate from their (for lack of a better word) "ridiculous" behavior/opinions. Mine are Morrissey and Gweneth Paltrow.

It has to be Evelyn Waugh and AE Housman for me. Both geniuses who were foul men in their private lives.

Things that are truly beyond the pale include rape & murder, but I often enjoy the work of people who had problems or were quite unpleasant.

Richard Branson and Virgin Cola.
I always quote this when telling people not to give up! Virgin Cola was a total flop, but Branson went off to do something else rather than deciding he'd never be a businessman, and quitting.
My colleague has failed his driving test twice and I always say this to him, in this (or anything someone considers important) you won't be a failure until you stop trying.

Yes! The bullshitting that takes place in Prime Minister's Questions has convinced me of it. The questions should be asked in an open letter and if not answered we will know why.

I don't actually! It is saddening but there is little sense of community where I live. None of my friends or family live on this estate, and the people I spend time with are mainly work colleagues.
I have been chatting to an elderly man who walks his dog along the canal for a few years now, as my morning walk often takes me that way. I walk part of the way to work on the canal and then get the bus the rest if the way, so I see this man about 3 miles from my home.
Recently he said the street he lives on and I was surprised that it's actually the next street to the one I live on, as I'd never seen this man on the estate. But that is all I can say about knowing people in the area.
I befriend people who have things in common with me and many of my friends I first met online, then started hanging round with in person. I'm not a very outgoing person so I have little to do with people I happen to be alongside, such as work colleagues.
Anyway, hope your meet goes/went well!

I don't like it, and I like even less that I can't post my backgrounds like the skulls any more as they're now premium :(
I am worried about the long-term impact of this and whether it's becoming commercialised, but for now I can keep on interacting and that's the main thing so I can ignore the silly bits.

What is your favorite subject in school?

I haven't been in school since 2003?
I studied history and it's still the subject I find most interesting. English, geography and ecology are also subjects I like to read about, go to museums of, etc, though I don't formally study anything.

Have you ever eaten a sumo citrus?

My favourite citrus is kaffir lime leaves, which takes me back to the far east in an instant. They can be found at specialist groceries and just adding them to a dish can transform it.

What do you refuse to pay for?

I won't buy bottled water! In fact I do pay for water, if I use it at home, but I would never pay twice for something that a civilised government should make available.

Say, ur friend got mad at you bc of the things she thought you didn’t like eventho you didn’t say such words. Like, she misunderstood what you said and never let you speak up or clear things up. Now she hasn’t replied to ur last text. Would u text her again and make her understand or just let it be?

I'm afraid you'll have to wait for her to get back to you as, while you may not have meant to hurt her, she is still hurt and must make the response.
Although lots of people don't like this, you can be right and still lose the argument with some people. So you must wait and hope your friend changes her mind and be ready to accept her when she does.

No, I drink mocha when I have a hangover or very tired but that's only once a month or so. I don't much like the taste of coffee on its own and probably better off without it.
