Why are women like this? Last week this woman was rude to me when she saw me (she was pregnant and I felt like kicking her in the stomach because of how abusive she was for no reason) then today she’s acting all nice and friendly and wondering why I’m pissed off?

Do you remember when Assassin’s Creed 3 game out and a lot of American lefties complained about the game being offensive towards British people because it’s about the war of independence? Well us British people weren’t offended at all, it was the best seller here for a number of weeks.
No, I don't play computer games and have never heard of this "controversy", which is presumably as non-existent as the recurring "Winterval" that right-wing cunts love scaring themselves with.
I can recommend this excellent book about the American war of independence tho

Do you remember chucklevision?
Yes, I'm 32.
We have a branch in Bury and these two blokes who work there are known in the office as the chuckle brothers.
When I spoke to one of them on the phone I said this to my workmates afterwards.

I’ve been seeing a lot of Thanksgiving themed questions lately and many revolve around Black Friday. I know a lot of you aren’t American but have any of you ever gone shopping on Black Friday? For those who have, has it ever been as bad as the stereotype? If you haven’t, what do you think it’s like?
I thankfully don't do anything on Black Friday, I'm horrified by what I've seen and I can't see any reason to try it out for myself as I hate shopping & don't want anything anyway.
It has extended its tentacles outside America, I know a lot of people who are doing Black Friday & Cyber Monday in Britain but I discourage it.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I'm an introvert fam, INTJ to be precise, and I recommend this excellent book to understand introversion.
Many feel under pressure to behave in an extroverted way, including from people who are introverts themselves, but this is an exploration of why our strengths should be appreciated.

Of course I can be social when necessary but I do believe that "he travels the fastest who travels alone".

What do you buy at the market on Saturdays usually?
Depends which one but I like the bread from this baker:
http://goodfoodshops.blogspot.co.uk/2009/09/stoke-london-road-bakehouse.html
Vegan pies that I began eating because of my sister in law, who is allergic to dairy, & carried on eating because they're so good even though I'm not a vegan myself.
Anything baked by the legends:
http://www.cossackcuisine.com/
And one market I go this woman bakes her own macarons and another does a sticky toffee pudding which vie with Indian sweets for best desert in the universe.

What's your favorite day of the week? Least favorite? Why?
This is a bit generic but my favourite is Saturday because I rest or see my girlfriend on Saturdays, and (I know how middle-aged this makes me sound) go to the farmers' market & buy the best meal of the week.
Sunday is overshadowed by thoughts of Monday so is less fun.
Friday is better than Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday but still involves work so can't be truly viewed as a good day.
The worst day, Monday obvs.
This poem sums up the sense of despair that emerges about one milisecond after the alarm clock rings on Monday:

(And is an excellent poem from my favourite poet, more positively)

I actually attended an official Microsoft Access course. It was so incredibly dull I can’t remember how long it was (though the office computers were reinstalled in the training room for the duration) or what transpired. It was useful to 1 out of the 15 attendees I think. I feel guilty I went on it!
I've also done a course on Access, but never actually used it.
Is this the secret of billionaires, that they use Access each day?

lots of times, though if you don't mind I won't describe any of them?
I'll play the soundtrack to one especially virulent outbreak of this, whch of course I won't describe the exact context of, but hope you enjoy.

I read the 25 oddest interview questions of 2011 included: “What do you think of garden gnomes? Name five uses of a stapler without staples. How would you get an elephant into a refrigerator? If you were a Microsoft Office program, which one would you be?” Which would you rather answer, and why?
Well if I were in Office I'd be Access.
No one in recorded history has ever understood Access or used it, but they don't delete it because they vaguely think it might be useful and something will go wrong if they don't.
So I'd have a long, peaceful life :)

If you could relive part of your life, but only half an hour, which half hour would you like to relive?
Apart from those that are too, erm, intimate to relate :)
The feeling of the first time I completed my long-distance walk.

I was unemployed at the time and I needed that to prove I could do things, discipline, planning, determination and what have you.
I didn't enjoy it at the time, I've done it subsequently and it gets slightly easier but not much. Only the feeling of having done it is a satisfaction you can only get by pitting yourself against a big challenge, so I recommend something of that kind.
It's in May and being set amidst scenery of this kind eases the hardship a bit.

I don't have any time for astrology, I think it's silly at best and can be harmful if taken seriously. People who are poor and feel they have little control over their lives are the most likely to fall for it, and the powerful prefer that to people actually trying to change their lives and those of others for the better.
That said, I'm all up for mocking astrology, homeopathy, etc. Like the mighty Douglas Adams did with his charachter The Great Zaganza, who would persistently troll Dirk Gently by writing negative horoscopes just for him. (Very few people knew why the newspaper he wrote for had lost one twelfth of its circulation!)

Tell me your fondest memory. :)
Most of my fondest memories involve my girlfriend, the best of all are probably best not retold :)
Once in October 2013, we were going through a bad patch and were sitting in this bookshop (which has since closed- lots of memories there too) and there was a lot of tension between us, but then someone came past, a random person we didn't speak to, and David Bowie (RIP) was his ringtone, this song, so some kind of unspoken agreement led us to go to her flat and listen to David Bowie, then make up.
Robert Smith, who is a legend in his own right, has a similar recollection.
"I was like utterly, my whole perception of sound was changed. Just how something could sound completely different, like ‘Breaking Glass’, everything on there in fact, ‘Sound And Vision’, everything on there, everything I heard was astonishing, really astonishing."
What a tragic loss but like millions of others he has helped me.

I just read an article about a new pill that relays a message to your doctor after you've taken it. What are your thoughts on this?
I'd never heard of it.
http://mashable.com/2017/11/14/pill-tells-doctor-when-you-take-it-approved/?utm_cid=hp-h-3#1JwKouZMHPqz
I'm very suspicious of it, although it ostensibly needs the patient's consent it's a short step from there to "presumed consent" and relatively few will use the opt outs even if they exist.
This may be me getting old but I'm disturbed by the idea, I appreciate what it's trying to do but it crosses the line between being interested in people's well being and interfering unduly in their lives.

Why do people dislike gays? I actually love them, I find the way the talk and move hilarious and they’re so camp and friendly, they’re fun to be around, lesbians on the other hand are fat and moody, whereas gays are easy going and bubbly, do you agree?
I like lesbians
I just saw someone post a question along these lines and I want honest people’s opinions and not arguments, the question I want to ask is if it is transphobic to only want to have sex with cis women?
Personally I don't think it is, it's just your orientation.
So long as you aren't bullying/discriminating against transpeople and you support their rights to form relations with other consenting adults, it's nobody's business who you like so long as you make sure you get consent from the people you want to shag.

I think I've asked something similar to this somewhat recently, but here's a little twist (I think?) on it. What are some "silly/stupid" deal breakers for you when it comes to relationships? This can be for any type of relationship, it doesn't have to be romantic.
"Not being my girlfriend" rules out any contender for my heart :)
This is a good question but I've only had a relationship with one person and I've been seeing her for 5 years (barring a time when we split up at her request) so I can't help, I'm afraid.
