The plumber said that it's the owner's responsibility to repair such problems.

Fontaine
3/3 and I agree with this. If the owner doesn’t, there must be some way to complain about them?

I called the plumber because I found out that the carpet was wet and I couldn't see where the water was coming from. The plumber said that the pipes under the sink were shook. He removed the washine machine and showed me that the was dropping water coming from the pipe in which the water supply was

I’m sorry you’re struggling with this and I’d like to help, but don’t know anything about anything ‘practical’ and never have!
Perhaps ask @jigsaw20216838 ?

Have you ever been forced to work with faulty tools? (E.g. perform with a broken instrument or work with malfunctioning equipment etc.) What was the result?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
No, but when I worked as a labourer in my student holidays, I was sent to the other side of the factory for a long weight! About 5 minutes into this, I realised what was happening…

You can choose to spend 12 hours in one of these environments: (1) Victorian England (2) A distant space-station city (3) an Elven forest (4) Ancient Rome (5) Aztec Mexico There is 10% chance that you will experience your chosen place in poverty. Which will you choose and why?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
I’d go to the forest because of the dread of being poor in any other place, and I wouldn’t especially want to be rich when others live in such poverty.
I like fantasy (and even more so, magic realism) more than sci-fi, so I’d have a kind of Tom Bombadil lifestyle.

How do you feel that Matt Hancock is being voting in for every trial on Im Celebrity?

Jayemdee52980’s Profile PhotoJay Dawes
He should not be on reality tv and taking £82000 a year of my money for work he doesn’t do. He should lose his party’s whip and there should be a by-election; if he stands it should only be as an independent.
It’s no good saying ‘his political career is as good as over, he might as well’ because his constituents still need at service they don’t get from that mountebank.

If you read, what’s your favourite books?

UsagiWhiteNight’s Profile PhotoAlex
Anything Graham Greene. I don’t really have favourites between them but The End of the Affair is the first that came to mind.

What is your "comfort food"?

Leek & potato soup and crusty low gi rolls
Sunday roast dinner (lamb)
Sticky toffee pudding & ice cream. And herbal tablets. (which. I think are just Midlands thing as most people from other places haven’t even heard of them).
Washed down with stout.
Proper 1950s man!

What is the most annoying advert(s) in your opinion?

That ‘darling, hold my hand’ really pisses me off. I don’t know who sings the song but I’ll certainly never listen to her warbling.

Are your neighbors noisy ?

Fontaine
No, they’re quiet and good neighbours. They were so helpful & understanding over the repairs I had done on my house, partly from relief that I’m not like some of the shitheads who used to live here but mostly because they’re just good people.

Do you think I'm ugly?

No, I don’t think you’re ugly. I looked at your picture and you don’t look anything out of the ordinary, not a sex god but certainly not ugly either.
Sorry if someone told you that you’re ugly but no need to pay any heed to them?

Can you tell me some traditional British foods?

Fontaine
Steak & kidney pie/pudding
Apple crumble
Sunday roast (lamb)
These are the first that came into my head, anyway?

Bath or shower

handfree33
I prefer showers as I tend to get uncomfortable in a bath and it’s normally too hot or too cold. But I have about five baths a year, in midwinter.
