What's the most badass thing you have ever done?

Going off on my own to theHighlands of Scotland, living and working with complete stranger for a week.
www.treesforlife.org.uk
It was fantastic, hence I'll be going again!
http://dry-valleys.tumblr.com/post/150320671394/in-the-midst-of-the-street-of-it-and-on-either
Most clearly you can see on this picture, inside the fence are the trees our predecessors planted in 1991, and outside the fence has been grazed to death by deer. It's a bit dispiriting to see most of the moors so bleak and deforested, but inspirational to think that what those peopke achieved in 1991 is what we can hope to achieve with our own work, and that was what motivated me when the work and general rawness of highland life seemed to much.
So I'm delighted to be going back there and spending time in Edinburgh, one of my favourite cities. on the way.

"It's okay to be angry. It's never okay to be cruel." - this is my quote of the day. Have you ever heard a quote or phrase that has stuck with you? One that you try to remember in the hard times? ?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
I like that quote :) Well this is my favourite poem in general and especially when I'm feeling sorry for myself.

Oddly enoug it actually cheers me up!

(For all my Potter fans - but have a go and answer anyway) ? Pick a potion to take: • Felix Felicis - "Liquid Luck" • Amortentia - "The most powerful love potion" • Polyjuice - "You will assume the form of another person"

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Well I don't know what the context of this would be as I haven't read/seen it but I just decided to take Polyjuice, wish me luck!

What is realistically more important? What do you think will get someone further in life - kindness or money?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Well it depends what's your definition of fulfilment.
In my case, I think I'd spend the money wisely as I'd have more purpose in my life, not less, as I'd go & climb mountains & become a full-time photographer, not for pay (I wouldn't need it) but for satisfaction in life.
The lyrics to this song are pertinent, though a satisfied mind is even better when it's accompanied by the ability to make a living without going to that bleedin' office ever again.

CELEBRITY CRUSH TIME ? just for something fun and light-hearted, do you have a celebrity crush? Who is it? If not, have you ever - who were they? If I had to pick: Luke Evans is 100% my (fellow Welsh) celebrity crush (yeah, I know he's gay, but that doesn't matter at all haha) ?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Anita Rani off Countryfile, what a milf! :)

What specific thing/s makes you nervous? ? (PLEASE let me know if any of you don't want to receive questions, as I need to remove you from my list if so because I'm asking questions and so many people aren't responding, so I might as well not ask them ☺️ thank you!)

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
I appreciate all well-mannered questions, you're welcome to ask.
What makes me nervous is the prospect of any of my appliances running out, after an incident in November when I was speaking to my girlfriend & my phone chose that moment to run out. And I dashed home to a set of ever more enraged text messages about how she couldn't believe what I'd done to her, hated me & never wanted to see me again.
I managed to salvage that & we're still seeing each other! But I've had a thing about it ever since, my ipad from which I type this message is at 97%, my phone at 100% and my manbag contains no fewer than three different kinds of charger!

What colour is your bedroom? (Or colours!) is there a theme? ?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Predominantly blue, like the walls, but other colours are there.
The magazine is The Economist

I'll have stuffed peppers, roast dinner (can I have lamb) & lemon meringue.
But not now thanks, as it's 6am :)

Tell me about a time when you felt really "Out Of Place" - somewhere you felt you really didn't belong, or that made you really uncomfortable and/or well out of your 'comfort zone'. - Doug

In 2003, the first time I'd ever been abroad, in an orthodox church in Moscow.
The whole thing didn't make any sense set against what I'd known before, I knew I was a long way from Saint Joe's in Goldenhill, where I'd grown up. But it was incredible & I loved it & that was thefirst, butnot last, experience of world travel.

What makes you facepalm?

Anything to do with disgraced former defence secretary Liam Fox.
Even Brexshitters can't dent that his return to government and subsequent performance stinks.

Would you rather date a person, who is a great cook or a great masseur/masseuse?

I'd rather date a good masseuse and then make her dinner in exchange for that :)
My girlfriend and I have discovered mutual massaging, though I'm embarrassed by hiw bad I am it, she still seems to find it relaxing. Though since it isn't my area of expertise we could in this imaginary world have a good nuru massage.

Does the subject of serial killers interest you? Why or why not? If yes, list (and tell a little about if you'd like) some of the ones you're most interested in?

AmericanLass’s Profile PhotoC.
It's not one of my specialist interests but have you read Tooth and Nail by Ian Rankin? (I think it might be called The Wolfman in America).
https://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/2015/08/08/book-review-tooth-and-nail-by-ian-rankin/
He is a fantastic author and Rebus is one of my favourite charachters, but in a weird way "The Wolfman" is the star of the show and we get an explanation of the childhood traumas that turned an abused child into "The Wolfman". So I recommend that if it's your interest.
