Fill in the blanks...."I strive to be like ____ but I'm currently more like a mix of ____ and ____." For example "I strive to be like Tank Girl but I'm currently more like a mix of Daria Morgendorrfer and Tina Belcher."

I strive to be like Bruce Chatwin but I'm currently more like a mix of Lewis Jones and Kaspar Utz.
(Those two are both Bruce Chatwin characters; sadly my life is more like theirs than Chatwin's)

What's your opinion on Sugar Parents?(Sugar Daddies, Sugar Mommies etc)

urlsareshittbh’s Profile Photourlsareshittbh
Consenting adults can do as they wish but I don't think it's something to be encouraged.
It certainly doesn't apply for me as I wouldn't want to be a kept man (would anyone wish to keep me!?) and I couldn't and wouldn't be a sugar daddy myself. I understand the desire to have a young student girl attend to my every wish, but apart from the obvious fact that I couldn't afford to, I wouldn't truly ge happy in that circumstance as it would always feel forced and unnatural.
Might I ask what led to this question? I've heard of websites like Seeking Arrangements but I've never met anyone who has engaged on either side.

Why did you unfollow the last person you unfollowed? Why did you follow the last person you followed?

urlsareshittbh’s Profile Photourlsareshittbh
I unfollow people if they post too often as I'm only here for a limited time and it prevents me reading the posts by people who post less but are more interesting.
Though I do have a list of people I occasionally read when I have more time and if anyone asks or likes then I read their posts even if they're not permanently on my list.
Last person I followed was @coffeehymn because she is interesting.

Last week An Garda Siochána(Irish police) permitted turbans and hijabs in their uniforms, admitting it's only to encourage more people to join them as numbers decline. I think it's great that they're now allowed but that it was clearly done for their own gain, not human rights. What's your opinion?

urlsareshittbh’s Profile Photourlsareshittbh
I support it, I'm glad if anyone decides they want to help enforce the law provided they stay within the powers we give them.
In Britain we see the effects of ideologically driven austerity and the police are one of those, so anyone capable of doing the job should be encouraged.
Yes, the leadership are doing it for their own reasons but if a good thing is done then a good thing is done, and should be supported.

Are you interested in boxing at all? Wtf is appealing about watching two dudes belting the sh!t outta each other? I don't get it. Not being judgemental or classist though, just wanna know

I agree and I also don't know why people like boxing.
I can partly see the appeal of playing as it teaches young men and women discipline and self-control and hopefully teaches them to fight back effectively if attacked, but not start a fight.
But why someone who isn't some kind of pervert would pay to watch youngsters punch each other is a mystery!

do you eat quickly or slowly?roughly how much time does it take?

I eat quickly as I enjoy food, and also despite being 33 I still think at the back of my subconscious mind that my brother will take the food unless I eat it now :)

What is ur biggest regret as a writer?

Not writing enough and spending too much time in my employment job, not enough with my passion.
I still haven't written up my post from last week

And when I do, I fear it may not be so good due to tiredness from work.
A thing none of my work colleagues would understand as they have no interest in art or anything outside their own boring families, football & drinking lager.

I tripped and broke my elbow on an unmarked handicapped ramp in the front of a store. I don't know what the bills will be like yet. Do you think I should get a lawyer or just continue with my life?

I firstly think health care in every country should be free at the point of delivery in America, as it is here, so you certainly shouldn't have to worry about that.
I don't know what advice to give as it sounds like you deserve recompense, but the system is such that you may be worse off if you do, so I don't know.
This is why it's so wrong to blame individuals for wider problems, conservatives would like to think such problems don't exist but they do. So I wish you well but sadly have no particular thing to say.

So I’m in an inexplicably rotten mood today. Sorry to anyone that’s been on the receiving end (though I don’t think any of those I’ve sent this to have!) What’s your go-to method for reducing anger? Lie down with an ice-pack? Meditate? Punch a Nazi? Primal screaming? What’s your trick?
