what’s your favorite delicious berry? ✰

Depends on the season. I like to harvest blueberries from a bush and bake with them, and apples from my tree :)

Inspired by recent news: do you know, or know of, anyone (including yourself!) who has lied on their C.V. (USA: resume) to get a job or to get into an institution? Were they ever found out, and if so what were the consequences?

It seems obligatory to do this in order to become a right-wing talking head or politician!
I've never lied or cheated myself because I'm not an Old Etonian or the recipent of funds from shadowy organisations, and the same goes for everyone I know.
This was the most hilarious example, if anyone remembers that no-mark.

I know this question is weird but bear with me- What color is a tennis ball?

shehitsback’s Profile PhotoAllison
Off the top of my head I would say green, tinged with yellow.
Now I will go and check!

What is the furthest place from home you've visited?

The place my brother used to live, that was quite remote!
Sadly I may never go there again as it's hugely expensive to pay for a flight and, while I stayed with my brother & didn't need a hotel last time I was there, I don't think I could afford a hotel as well as a flight!
But a magnificent place!

Which generation are you? ?? TRADITIONALIST, born 1900-1945 ..... ??‍♂️ BABY BOOMER, born 1946-1964 ..... ??‍? GENERATION X, born 1965-1980 ..... ??‍? MILLENNIAL (GENERATION Y), born 1981-2000 ..... ?‍♀️ GENERATION Z, born 2001-present

Millennial from 1985.
My parents are both boomers.

⌨️ When was the last time you began to type something (e.g. a message to someone, or an Ask question etc) and then thought better of it and deleted it?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
When I almost waded into an intergenerational argument and said what I think about (most, not all) boomers. What I would have said was true, but it would have been a mistake to say it as it would have pointlessly pissed people off and made them less receptive to the arguments.

What do you think about parents who presents their childrens on the Internet (Facebook, Instagram, ...)?

They are doing it for themselves, not the children. They need to look in the mirror and think about what they're doing, and stop it.

If you were allowed to do just one thing in your life, what would it be?

Just found out that Nadine Coyle split up from her boyfriend, is it wrong for a 30-something man to have crushes & celebrate them being newly single, if so I don't want to be right!?
If you were allowed to do just one thing in your life what would it be

I’ve recently been conversing with what I thought were three (very decent) anons, but now they’ve all vanished at the same time,I’m beginning to wonder if it was just one? If you allow anons, how easy is it for you to distinguish between them?Do you ever get them mixed up, or can you tell who’s who?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
I allow anons if they are polite, and sorry if I can't always think of an answer to their questions if they're polite. I understand some people can't be open, for instance about their sexuality, or having some harmless opinion that might get them fired from their job or disowned by their family.
I think there is one person who asks a series of anon questions and they're welcome, and then there's Ben Isaacs who isn't, but in general I don't know where most of my opinions come from and I might like to know but I don't ask.
