Have you ever read a self-help book or taken a self-improvement class-- anything like that? Did you find it helpful?

No, I haven't really done such a thing.
But on a vaguely related note, I'd like to mention again the biggest influence on my art. I saw him on a programme called Countryfile in 2012 and one thing led to another and I was soon starting to take my photography more seriously, do photobooks, wall calendars etc. Though I haven't made any money out of it, I've been creatively fulfilled thanks to Hockney after hating art at school. So this was my "self help book" :)

What's the last song you listened to that made you cry? What about it drew out that particular emotion for you?

AmericanLass’s Profile PhotoC.
Well as you may recall, I've often mentioned an incident last year when I was talking to my girlfriend and my phone died during the conversation. She was furious and when I got back and put my phone on charge I found a lot of texts about how she hated me and never wanted to see me again.
Somehow I turned that around and i'm still seeing the same girl. But I always carry a phone charger around with my nowadays. And this is the song of that day. (despite being 32, I still have the emotions of a teenager it seems- that doesn't really change).

What are your ideal sleeping conditions? Complete darkness/light? Thick sheets/no sheets? Music/tv? Windows/door open? Alone? How do you BEST get to sleep? ?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Well I just woke up after not sleeping well, I wish I knew :(
insist on total darkness (you'd be amazed how many cheap hotels haven't grasped this concept, to the extent that I no longer stay in them) & silence (ditto).
And some music

How quick are you to remove someone from your social media friends/follow list? What causes you to unfriend/unfollow someone? Do you secretly like creeping on other people's lives/drama?

AmericanLass’s Profile PhotoC.
I exercise care over who to follow, so it's rare that I'm driven to unfollow someone. A disagreement of views won't cause me to unfollow you, what will is repratedly posting about shite I'm not interested in, clogging up my feed.
And I love reading profiles etc, people are often freaked out by how much I know about them. But I'm not a stalker or anything, I just read what people publicly post, I have a good memory and I'm curious about folks. :)

Your favourite type of art form out of the following? (You can pick more than one if you absolutely have to) • Painting / Drawing / Writing / Poetry / Sculptures / Architecture / Photography / Music / Dance / Acting / Singing ?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Well my favourite for me to do is naturally photography :)
Unfortunately work in my day job prevents me from doing enough of it though but hopefully my Scotland trip in September will usher in a new age of photography, as by then it will be autumn and I've got a lot of places to visit for autumn photoshoots so it should catch fire.

People always ask me if I'd ever want to move away from Wales and the answer is always no way, I love it here far too much! Are you old enough to drive?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
I'm old enough (I'm 32!) but I couldn't learn, I've failed my test twice.
I now know that when I sat my test I was starting to develop a thyroid problem which is now treated, the difficulty concentrating etc that I had then may have been caused by the illness so it could be I could pass now. But I don't want the expense of learning, then running a car.

What's your favourite: Animal? ⭐️

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Sorry for the delay answering this, I was trawling through my archives for a particular picture from 2013 which encapsulates the issue.
So I climbed Snowdon & saw this bird soaring above & thought, I don't believe in it but what if this was my spirit animal. I took a picture of it.
On closer inspection, there's a pigeon sitting on the ground, which somehow seemed appropriate...
I'm jinxed by having a pigeon as my spirit animal :)

Bit of a dull question I suppose, but I'm interested - how often, if ever do you have the following tech issues with Ask: 1. Communication Error I think it's 55 but there's a 45 too) 2. The red "like" heart ❤️ being filled in for an answer you haven't liked?

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
This hasn't happened to me?

Do you think people who are over-confident, interactive with many acquaintances are shallow?

Yes, I tend to assume introverts are more intelligent than extroverts, I definitely agree with your statement
But I think it may not be true and I may be wrong in the issue so I'd be cautious about always thinking that.

What's your favourite unhealthy snack? ☘️

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
Which of your children do you most love?
I like several but I haven't eaten baklava for a long time so that's my vote,
I first had it in Corfu in 2005 and i haven't looked back. The Ottoman Empire was the second best culinary empire, after the Austro-Hungarian.

Do you have any allergies? If so, what are they? ?

ronniebon’s Profile PhotoRonnie
No, but my sister in law has a lot, dairy, tomatoes & peanuts.
(Through her allergies I've discovered some vegan food which is quite nice actually).
I remember when we went on holiday I bought peanuts but I could only eat them in my own room as it would give her a rash if she even touched them. But I do like peanuts so I ate them in exactly the same way, which you may recall since you said you were brought up in the church, like this.

Like the Israelites worshipping a golden calf when the thought the LORD wasn't looking, I eat these things my sister in law is allergic to, but only when she isn't there :)

In the 8s & 90s there was a conspiracy theory that the popularity of "Grey" aliens in the media and the rise in alien abduction stories was due to us somehow being "prepared" for First Contact. Currently the trend in film and media is zombie apocalypses. Who might be preparing us for one of those??

Sweet or salty snacks?

Well I like some salted cashew nuts or peanuts but I Vote for sweet, as in the case of the pranut butter cookies I baked yesterday, or what warriors eat for pudding. \m/

Who would you want to be transformed into with the Polyjuice potion?

Well I'd never heard of it before getting that question & I chose one random answer rather than google it as I wanted to stay in the spirit if things, so I didn't plan it out :)
I'd like to have the life of Levison Wood, he's from the same county as me & was in the same class at school as my cousin (I asked whether he was the type who grows up to be a round the world explorer, apparently he wasn't)
http://www.npr.org/2016/05/29/479741407/adventurer-says-walking-the-himalayas-wasnt-about-sticking-flags-in-peaks
So that's what I'm going to do, because I chose to answer a question on a subject I know nothing about, rather than ignore it.
