What's a hidden Netflix gem that you love? I recently found Kim's Convenience on there. It's about a Korean-Canadian family and I love it. If you don't have Netflix, what's a hidden gem that you found in a store? Like, the last pair of nice shoes, a reduced but usually expensive item of clothing etc

I haven't used it much as I had it but cancelled before my free trial was out, I was only there in order to view The Last Kingdom.

It's terrific, set amidst real events, and with the storytelling of Bernard Cornwell who is second to none. There are a number of Irish characters, including Uhtred's second in command, and they have always considered themselves better than the Britons because unlike us they were never conquered by Rome.
It's not very cheerful but Uhtred is a great character who is noble in the truest sense, the stories are so well written and you can't lose with that time period so I recommend it.
(Another hidden gem that I found is a masseur that I've been visiting for more than a year; her rates are very competitive and she really helps me relax and so on).

Do you believe in skin walkers or anything of that nature? Have you got any stories about them whether fiction or nonfiction? I don't think I've ever posted my grandfather's skinwalker story but if you guys wanna hear it, just ask.

When you visit a website nowadays, you often get a pop-up asking you if you want to allow ad/tracking cookies. Do you just click “accept all” and carry on, or do you turn off all the cookies you can? On the sites where they don’t even give you that option, do you “accept” or just leave the site?

Iclick on reject or leave the site, but I do wonder if that does more harm than good as it causes me to get random adverts instead of targeted ones (which, very occasionally, are useful).
The reason I pay for things like, for instance, my subscription to The Economist or Spotify is to avoid things like this as I know things have to be paid for, and I'm concerned about the idea that if you don't pay for the product then you are the product. But since I hardly ever buy anything-and if I do it's something I like but wasn't aware of- they are just a petty annoyance.
I find the random adverts annoying and faintly amusing-yesterday I was listening to the Grateful Dead and an advert for some godawful rap compilation came up. What were the admen thinking when they imagined a deadhead would like that?

What are you going to eat for dinner??

Since it's 8:45pm here, I have already eaten :)
I cooked a vegetarian meal based on a sauce of fried onions & peppers, tinned tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano & rosemary.
While cooking this mix I boiled and drained some fresh fusilli, then added it to the pan of sauce with some peanut butter at the last minute.
Served with toasted crusty wholemeal rolls.
Dessert of some nakd bars which I often take as they are nice and sweet but not too heavy, which is the best thing after a big meal.

Who’s the best cook in your family?

I am, I've just cooked a vegetarian curry to eat tomorrow which will be sound. Also I'm a mean baker. No one in the family is better than me because they're all by-the-book pedants with no feel.

Have you ever been bullied? I haven't but I watched others get bullied and did nothing.

First, don't blame yourself for what happened then. An adult should have stopped it and it's not your fault if they failed to. If it happens again go and tell someone immediately and only get involved if you're certain you can help, and not do more harm than good.
Yes, I have been bullied some. Physically i got beat up on my first day in high school and thrown in a pond another tine, and this youth would follow me round insulting me and later thumped me. One day he had me cornered and I dread to imagine what would have happened if my friend hadn't come along, pushed him to the ground and told him what would happen unless he left me alone (which he did, and I haven't been bullied since).
I have also had a lot of name-calling, and whatever thoughtless people say, that is very hurtful and should be stopped.
I have learnt a number of things, including the sense of unfairness I felt. The kid at school had been bullied by my brother, who behaved terribly at my school, and his victim vented on me, but how is that fair? I condemn what my brother did, how is it my fault? I managed to avoid this youth and his friends (I hid in the library!) but I knew he hated me and how unfair it was.
Also, the youth who bullied me later was someone who went to a different school and ai didn't know him. When I asked him what he had against me, he said I had insulted his family. Of course I'd done no such thing, but some fucker told him I had so he hated me for it!
You soon learn how unfair that is so please take my advice and tell a responsible person if any bullying happens again as I hope you've learned a lesson.

Good morning, it's 6.30 am so I'm a bit exhausted.
This year I've made a resolution to cycle more as yesterday I cycled after more than a month out of it due to holiday and my bike being bust, but niw it's fixed I vow to do a lot more cycling.
So that is hopefully the new, supervit me in 2019!

Yes, I like pizza and I ate a ham & pineapple pizza today. (I didn't know until recently how many people disilke that topping, but I like it).
I also like margherita, pepperoni, and most things unless they involve vegetables I dislike.

❄️ This winter in the UK has been mild so far, however it’s been the worst I’ve known for friends catching nasty viruses and getting sick. I’ve also read about outbreaks of measles in the USA and Scarlet Fever here. Have you managed to avoid getting sick recently, wherever in the world you are? ?

Yes, I've been fit and healthy ever since Easter, when I randomly caught norovirus, and equally randomly shook it off after 2 days.
I have got a bit of a hangover though!
