Are BKPs worth the money? I mean, they're surely great sounding pickups, all of them, but, is quality so superior than Dimarzios or SDs? (maybe I shouldn' t ask this to you, after all you're are an endorser :D)

Worth every penny and they do make the most perceivable difference in your guitar tone, I wouldn't endorse them if I didn't love them :) Compared to other brands, they just feel more "alive" and "juicy" if I could describe them.

What do you think of Misha Mansoor ?

True innovator not only in his music itself but also regarding the "attitude" in which he has spread it: less metal and more "casual guy" look, making the music only do the talks, not the appearance. Being among the first ones achieving solid results with DIY production, programmed drums, and ambassador of the "digital revolution" in guitar tone.
He might not be the fastest shredder, but has a unique style and definitely knows how to write a fuckin good song.
I just wish there were less copycats and djent-related arguments, but of course this is not his fault :)

Hi Francesco! I've just bought a sterling jp70, and I want to replace stock pups with crunch lab/liquifire 7, I've read on internet that 6 strings jps mount f-spaced crunch lab and normal spaced liquifire, is it the same for the jp70?

There is no difference in 7 string pickups, all of them have the same spacing. :)

Francesco hi, could you tell me about music man JP7? I want to buy Guitar is here where I live but unfortunately it is not possible to test, and I doubt buying JP7 or ibanez apex 100, thank you very much

go with the jp7, it's a much better guitar than the apex 100 (which is not bad at all actually).

carvin or kxk?

Carvin for many reasons:
- want a custom instrument built in 2 months or 2 years?
- want frequent customer service or once in a while?
- extabilished company vs much smaller business, not automatically worse but it has its downsides
- if you need to resell eventually, it's much easier with renowned brands
That being said, KxK are TRULY FUCKING AMAZING guitars and in my opinion right there with Vik, Blackmachine etc etc. But Carvin can get you an instrument that is in my opinion just as good, for a fraction of the cost and in WAY less time.
I got lucky since my KxK was an In Stock instrument and I didn't have to wait, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered one. Way too many cons throughout the wait and way too many problems with my Bernie Rico build that I'll never want to repeat again.

How much time did you spend practicing per day back in the day ?

Have no idea, in my teens I just played a lot all afternoons until night without taking count of practice or just noodling around :) play the guitar as much as you can and practice as much as you can while you still have time!

sorry if you've been asked this before but, what do you do for a living?

half of my income comes from graphic design work, the other half from in-person or online lessons and session/guest work.

what picks do you prefer ?

I have a new overall favourite: Dunlop TIII 0.88 Green. Seems to be the best sounding on my tests on rhythm, lead and also bass. What a phenomenal pick!

You'r a very effective communicator when it comes to teaching guitar and music. Have you ever thought about doing some kind of youtube series?

If time permits I'll do other lessons but I much prefer to teach the stuff privately to focus on the individual student's main purpose. Anyway thank you, I appreciate the kind words :)

Hey Man..Saw some pictures of you athe Blackat booth playing some stuff..What did you think about those guitars ? Would you invest your money to buy a blackat 7 string ?

These guitars are pretty consistent and each one I've tried pretty much played itself, also they don't cost a fortune which is a big plus. When I have time I'm gonna post a video from Messe in which I'm playing some of them :)

What do you think about the ibanez premiums vs the prestige?

Prestiges are more consistent in wood and general quality, and are imho close to the "holy grail" early 90s Ibbies. Too bad their prices have gone up exponentially as of late and Premiums, which are Indonesian made, cost just as much as how Prestiges used to.
That being said Premiums are good for sure, I like certain models and others not so much.

Ciao fracesco, cosa ne pensi della nuova ibanez rg7421? ( non quella di produzione giapponese ) A confronto con una sterling jp7 ?

preferisco di gran lunga la jp7, però la 7421 giapponese rullava alla grande

do you think of basswood as a cheap wood choice ? I am asking because a lot of people are saying that the old jp's made of basswood are much worst than the new bfr's..

A lot of people? Never heard anyone saying that. Basswood rules, it's punchy, full and particularily shines with lead playing. You can find cheap basswood but also very good sounding basswood, just like any other wood species. I like basswood from Music Man, Suhr, Anderson and Prestige Ibbies.
That being said BFR models resonate better in my opinion, have less "direct punch" than the basswood ones but more lows, highs, harmonic content and responsiveness.
