since you mentioned that goku was your biggest influence as a kid, which fight was your favorite? vs Buu? Vs Mr Chuful,or Vs Omega Shenron?

Goku vs Frieza fight is the best ever imho

do you prefer ceramic or alnico pickups in your blackmachines ?

Generally speaking I prefer the aggressiveness and brutality of ceramic pickups.

I'm wondering about one thing about the tonematching feature on the axe fx 2. When you tonematch u usually play an isolated guitar track to it right? What happens if you just put on some random metal song e.g with drums and all (no vocals). Will the tone be "fucked up" or...what happpens?

Most likely it will sound like crap! Tonematching by itself is already something almost pointless imho, only useful for cover bands maybe. Ps: no need to ask the same thing to multiple people :)

Usi il riverbero quando registri la ritmica? Se sì, lo applichi successivamente tramite plugin?

niente effetti sulle ritmiche, solo tubescreamer-ampli-cassa

opinions on the Matrix Q12A for use with the Axe FX ?

the only big FRFR speaker I've owned with the Axe has been a Mackie HD1221 and it was superb. No idea on this

Hi fra! What is the softest floating bridge for divebombing among music man jp, zr, lo pro edge, OFR? I have a prestige ibby with edge zero and I find the bridge hard to use... Thank you boss!

The softest one is Kahler, but I don't like the tuning stability. Edge and Lo Pro Edge are very soft, and the Luke trem is on the soft side too.

Does your Imac handle recording projects well, and what specs should I look into if I'm trying to order one soon?

Something from 2011/2012 with enough RAM (4gb at least, 8 preferrably) and a SSD will handle stuff just fine.

how many times should a solo be recorded ?

If you mean double-tracking it or not, it depends. I use double tracking when I have lead harmonies within the solo, or just want a chorus-y effect to widen it (I prefer double tracking to cheesy choruses or stereo-wideners).
A single tracked solo sounds more expressive though, some nuances are more preserved with a single take.

I can't really afford any decent monitors but I already have a pair of good quality Bose Headphones, should I just use them for the time being and save up or would you recommend getting some cheap monitors to do the trick until I can get good ones?

No headphone can replace the feeling of monitors in front of you - that being said save moar money and work moar until you can afford cheap but reliable monitors, some of them are not pricey at all.

How do you use cabinet simulators? what cabs and mics are your favourites in lead playing, rhythms and cleans?

I don't use microphone simulation in the Axe Fx, it's redundant since the impulse itself is already mic'd. I rarely use cabinet simulators outside the Axe Fx but LeCab, MixIR and NadIR are excellent cab-loaders. I generally prefer Mesa-ish sounding cabs for rhythm, Marshall-ish for leads, and for cleans it depends. It always depends on the impulse itself and the frequencies it enhances.

Hi Francesco ! I have a Nailbomb 7 neck ready to be installed very soon, I'd like to know which wiring option could help me to get close to that single coil neck pickup sound : parallel or split ? Thanks for your answer, and I'm also looking forward for the Abio record, your teasers are killing me !

François Chagnaud
Definitely split! Parallel can be cool for some cleans but split will retain the bite and juice we all attribute to single coils :)

Which pickups? Ibanez RG 6-string 27" scale half step down tuning. Basswood body, maple neck.Playing through an Orange Th100, Mesa Cab. Looking for musical set capable of glassy clean tones and a good bit of organic growl similar to opeth, and new protest the hero. I like the BD/VHii soundclips best

I'd go with alnico Nailbomb and VH2 :) soundclips have been made with a Les Paul so it's gonna be different of course. Good alternatives would be Black Dog bridge or Holy Diver for sure.
Btw, 27" 6 string ibby? Which model is it? I'm not sure something like this even exists.

Hi Fra! Have you ever tried all-Ti Floyd Rose? How is it? Is it true that increase sustain and makes guitar sounds brighter?

never tried but trusted sources say it works really good

I remember in the past you could spec out a custom Carvin on their website and see the final price, now i have to send the specs to a dealer and get them have the estimation. Is there another way to know it without getting others involved?

I guess you're outside the US then. Use a proxy to check the US website where you can still check price etc etc, but it's a bit pointless because only the dealer will give you the exact price. If you reside in Europe, contact Guitar Candy since they're the best european Carvin dealer imho.

Which neck pickup from Bare knuckle would you say is closo to the Seymour Dunkan Jazz as far as character goes ?

I'd say VH2, but if you like the Jazz why not stick with it?

Which camera are you using currently? Damn those JP7 KOA pictures are amazing!

Thanks! I don't have a camera right now, just borrowing a friend's T3i with a Sigma 30mm lens.

My guitar is an esp eclipse CS.Set neck, Mahogany Body and neck and maple top.I am serching for a versatile bridge pickup-i am going with the vh2 in the neck- to be able to pull off anything from modern metal(Periphery,KSE,Gojira) to Jazz to blues to fussion in various tunings(Dropped C, Std. E, D)

either Rebel Yell or ceramic Nailbomb will be FANTASTIC in that guitar.
