Is making a living of art (graphics + music like you do) doable in Italy?
Graphic design is not exactly "art", or actually I would want it to be more artsy but it just has to deliver a message in the end, it's more "communication". Anyway it's almost impossible, very very hard. I'm very lucky to be able to help my dad sometimes with his work otherwise my graphic design+guitar lessons income wouldn't suffice

How do you make sure your YouTube covers don't get copyright notices?
Some of them do! It entirely depends on the company that holds the copyright. Some of my videos are not viewable on mobile because of copyrights. Stupid, I know.
Basically they have some sort of algorithm that automatically detects your music and checks if it corresponds to an existing copyrighted song within a gigantic library, if you want to avoid it you have to "confuse" them like varying the song's pitch like a half-tone or whole-tone (something that I wouldn't do), or maybe if you're brave enough to cover the song without backing track (or with it being very low in volume) the algorithm won't catch it.

What's the specs of your imac and macbook? Do you think about an upgrade?( just curious what you use to produce the music)
I'm definitely thinking about an upgrade, my MBP is late 2008 and I just keep it for very light work & interwebz. Even with the 8GB RAM it's a bit tired :) My iMac 27 is good for sure but it lacks USB 3.0 and SSD which would be enormous plus for my needs. I'm probably putting 32GB RAM total on it soon, #yolo.

Manco io le so benissimo, non avrebbe neanche senso perderci troppo tempo nel saperle perchè appena cambi accordatura sono tutte sballate :) non è importante sapere che note stai suonando, è importante sapere gli intervalli che intercorrono tra esse, ti fanno capire molto più il ruolo di ogni nota all'interno di ció che stai suonando...ma manco più di tanto alla fine. Magna e sona, questo conta!

Bah, è come fare a gara a chi ce l'ha più lungo...se è da aggiungere un la cantino potrei anche dire ok (fino ad un certo punto), altrimenti non penso abbiano poi così tanta finalità
